why i chose diana silvers (cast + playlist)

diana silvers is a budding actress, and has recently starred in films 'Ma' and 'Booksmart', one of which revealed she was gay. and goodness was it wonderful that she was a gay icon from that, seeing as emily blunt always hoped a film would make her a gay icon, and the irony seemed lovely. it wasn't only that. silvers reminded me exactly of an embodied vivian, and that was how i knew. i hope her career grows and she becomes a wonderful actress, she deserves it.

ELOQUENT - this means smooth, and it always reminded me of the songs in mary poppins.

mokita -  a widely known but unspoken truth- vivian receives the letter from aunt petunia

hiraeth - a longing for home, vivian's uncertain

clinquant - the twinkle of snow and other winter-y things.

l'appel du vide - vivian's attempt, which is derived from trauma

pulchritudinous - beautiful, amazingly beautiful

billet-doux - a love letter, which mary begins to write

raconteur - a story teller, which mary begins to be

malacia - a calm ocean, jane and mary talk at the pier

anecdoche - a conversation in which everybody is talking, but not listening; different people and their lives
