My name is Anna.

Let me begin by telling you how my best friend and I met.

"Hey smelly Melly! Red really isn't your color, it looks like someone had a period on your head!" A young blonde girl was pointing and laughing at a geeky looking redheaded girl. I could see the fear and sadness in her eyes as the blonde barbie threw a few more insults at the girl who seemed to be frozen to the ground.  She pushed her big round glasses back onto her nose that had almost dropped to her cheeks as she removed a short red curl from her face.

Should I intervene?  It really isn't my place, right? Or is it? This girl clearly wasn't able to defend herself. I started walking towards the mean girl before I even noticed that my legs were moving. There was nothing more I hated than a bully and this girl was one of the worst. You could tell by the way her victim reacted to her that this wasn't the first time. Tears were filling up her eyes as I got closer.

"Hey bitch, why don't you pick on someone who could kick your ass" the words were spoken before thinking and the blonde barbie turned around while sweeping her hair. Oh fuck, I sure got her attention now. Don't show her any fear, stay strong. You got this.

"Excuse me? This doesn't concern you, okay? So why don't you and your fake Gucci bag go back to the box you crawled out of."

That's the best she got? Some fashion bullshit, when my bag clearly wasn't fake. You're mine now. A smirk appeared on my face and I could see that it made her feel uncomfortable.

"You can't see the difference between a fake and a real Gucci bag, can you?" I said, as my smirk turned into a smile from ear to ear. The redheaded girl started to smile carefully and all of her sadness seemed to fade away. I was in control and the bully wasn't very pleased about that.

"Ugh whatever, you're a nobody anyway." Just when she was about to walk away from this incredibly awkward situation, the headmistress came walking towards us.

"What's the meaning of this, young ladies?" she said in a very strict voice. A voice that when used to you, you know that you're in trouble. The barbie turned around towards the headmistress with eyes filled with tears. She sure as hell knew how to put up a good act, I'd give her that.

"Melly was bullying me, miss." She said while one single tear rolled down her cheek. Oh hell no, is this bitch for real right now?! Before I or Melly could say a word, the headmistress walked towards the barbie to comfort her.

"Has this happened before, Fallon?" So the bitch has a name. Fallon. A name I wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon. As the headmistress looked away for a bit, Fallon smirked at me for a short moment before putting up her act of the helpless victim again. This girl had the headmistress wrapped around her little finger, that was for sure.

"That's detention for you, Melly" she crossed her arms and looked at her viciously. Melly just nodded and the headmistress left while Fallon followed her like a lost little puppy. Or maybe more like a straydog, because a puppy sure as hell would be way too cute to be compared to a like a barbie looking demon like Fallon.

This was many, many years ago and that was the beginning of our friendship, we've been inseparable ever since.

The Melly she is today is totally different from the Melly that she was, her glasses had made room for contacts and her beautiful long curly red hair was surrounding her naturally beautiful face. Yeah, this Melly was gorgeous you would have never guessed that she used to be that geeky helpless girl.

I quickly put on a cute summer dress when I hear a knock on my bedroom door. Right on time.

"Girlllllll, are you ready?!" she almost screamed when walking into my bedroom. You might think to yourself, who gets this excited about school? It isn't school that she's excited about, it's Blake. Blake was the captain of the football team, she was absolutely gorgeous and probably everyone had a crush on her. She had a short black pixie cut and beautiful green eyes that popped because of her tanned skin. If I'm in love with her as well? I am, but I'd never tell anyone. Especially not Melly. Unfortunately for Melly and any other girl, Fallon is everywhere Blake is.
