"It appears that the words are carved into the window with a sharp object. What's more surprising is that it's been carved in from the inside." Detective Shaw is staring at the big letters on my window.

"Meaning the person who did it, was inside of the house."

She walks towards the bloody doll's head and takes a sample from the red fluid.

"Bring this to forensics."

The police officer leaves my room and Rain holds me tight right outside of my room while trying to comfort me.

"I'll keep you safe, Anna. Nothing's going to happen to you."

Detective Shaw then comes our way as well.

"Betty Blossom has been spotted near your house, I'm afraid that she's behind all of this. That being said, she could have never entered your house without anyone noticing. I'm afraid that she has an accomplice. Someone who can get close to you, someone..."

Before detective Shaw can finish her sentence, Rain finishes it for her.

"Someone like Blake."

Rain then walks to Blake's room, swings the door open and walks in to a weird scene that seems to have come straight out of fifty shades of grey. But surprisingly, Blake wasn't the dominant one.

Rain grabs Blake and punches her in her face. "Stay the fuck away from my woman!"

Chloe jumps on Rain's back, but Rain throws her off making her land straight on her back.

"If anything happens to Anna, I'll fucking destroy you!"

Rain then returns to me and grabs both my hands. "I'll fix this, I promise."

Detective Shaw then gets a text that changes everything.

She commands the two remaining police officers to help out and says...

"Rain Hamilton, I hereby place you under arrest for the murder of Melly Grayson. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say, can and will be used against you in court."

I was completely shocked.

They're arresting my girlfriend?!

In the corner of my eye, I could see Blake and Chloe watching our every move.

I could swear that I saw Chloe smile.

"Please! No! She's innocent!" I scream, while they pull Rain out of my arms.

"Don't say a word, baby!"

Rain just winks at me. She doesn't seem the slightest bit worried, but I was... I didn't care about what she did.

Rain told me everything right after we started dating.

She did this for me and I would always have her back like she has mine.

I quickly grab my purse to leave as well, but detective Shaw stops me.

"Don't protect a killer, Anna."

She started to piss me off and for a minute I forgot that she's a detective.

"You don't know shit, you fucking asshole!" And I make my way out of the house where I see them driving away with Rain.

My Rain.

The police officer wants to arrest me for talking with so much disrespect to the detective, but detective Shaw tells him to let it go.

I grab my bike and drive towards the police station, as fast as I can.

When I reach the small path through the forest that I have to take to get there as fast as I can, I get pulled off by my throat from my bike, in rapid speed.

A thin line that isn't very visible has been pulled taut between two trees, throwing me off my bike on to the muddy ground.

I'm completely covered in dirt and I'm having trouble breathing.

I hear the sound of heels coming closer and closer and I look to my side.

The Louboutins standing next to me could only mean one thing.

Miss Blossom.

"You might have won the battle, Anna. But I will win the war."

Completely terrified, unable to speak or move, I remain on the muddy ground listening to the heels disappearing into the distance again.

After minutes of laying there, I'm finally able to move. But not nearly well enough to get back up.

Then a car slows speed and stops beside me.

"Are you okay?! What happened?"
She gets out of the car and helps me back up, into her car.

I explain what happened and detective Shaw listens attentively.

"I'm going to bring you to a safe house."

Thank god detective Shaw was there to help me.
