Little Guri gasped in horror while everyone else stared in shock. Future Guri spoke again, "I'm the only other Saiyan besides Trunks in the future." She sighed after a moment. "I guess I'm the only original fighter left... And even then, I didn't even fight until I turned ten. Two years after the arrival of the androids. I forced Gohan to train me because I was scared he would die if he fought alone. Now, he's dead and I'm still here. I'm determined to fix things, in honor of him and everyone that died."

"What do we call you?" Gohan spoke up. "Since we have our Guri and.... You?"

"I'm not sure, but we really don't have time for this. We need to get the androids. Gohan, would you take these guys to safety please?" Gohan almost protested before he nodded, taking Bulma, baby Trunks, and Yajirobe away. "Now that we don't have to worry about them, let's go." She began flying, the others moving to follow her. They chased after Android 20, watching him enter his lab.

"We need to get in there." Trunks frowned. "Before he can release the androids." The others nodded in agreement, trying various methods with none of them working. Guri looked to her future self, whose eyes were full of desperation. Future Guri looked to Trunks and gave him a quick nod. "Everyone get back!" Trunks powered up, blasting the lab once everyone was out of the way.

Future Guri gasped when she saw the two androids, standing unfazed as they opened a pod to awaken Android 16. "No! This can't be-!" Android 16 climbed out of the pod.

"Hey big guy, what's your mission?" Android 18 ignored the Z-Fighters, asking Android 16.

"Kill Son Goku." He replied, his voice heavy and monotonous. 18 looked at 17, who shrugged. 18 then smirked.

"Let's go." She began flying, leading the other two away as the Z-Fighters watched in abject terror.

"T-This can't be..." Future Guri muttered, tears welled up in her eyes. "T-This..." She began to cry slightly, putting her arm to her eyes as Vegeta tsked.

"You call yourself a Saiyan warrior?" He snarled at Future Guri. "You're crying. Saiyan's don't cry." He floated toward her. "You aren't a Saiyan-"

"Hey, Vegeta?" Guri spoke up as she flew quickly between them. "Maybe you should shut up." Vegeta simply rolled his eyes. "They're really strong, she has a reason."

"I agree, they would overpower us with little to no problem." Piccolo crossed his arms, with the others agreeing with that. They knew the androids were too strong for them.

"Oh whatever. In my Super Saiyan form, it would be no issue."

"Is that what you think father?" Trunks looked over, rubbing Future Guri's shoulder lightly. "You're seriously underestimating them. We need to wait for Goku to get better." He went over to Vegeta to reason with him, only to be punched in the stomach. He doubled over, winded. Vegeta then took off to go fight the androids.

"Uh oh..." Guri frowned, looking in the direction Vegeta went. After some conversation, the rest of the Z-Fighters quickly went to follow.

----------------------

Guri watched with wide eyes as Vegeta seemed to be winning in the match against 18. However, with some subtle movements, she noticed Future Guri tense.

"She's just toying with him." The woman spoke softly, her claim proven true as 18 decided to end the match, a swift quick breaking Vegeta's arm. Trunks rushed in to try and defend him, but was knocked aside with one hit from 17. Guri watched as everyone else tried to rush the androids, moving forward herself before her arm was grabbed by Krilling, who was quaking in fear.

"It's too dangerous for you Guri... G-Get behind me-" He muttered. The eight year old complied, moving behind him, peaking out to witness everyone being beat down. She watched as Krillin stepped forward, moving quickly to stand beside him. "W-Why are you guys after Goku-? He didn't do anything to you! I-It's wrong to want to hurt someone who n-never wronged you..."

"Ah, finding Goku... It's a game." 17 smirked, crossing her arms.

"I have to kill Goku." 16 spoke, frowning as the fighting had scared off the birds. "I am programmed to destroy him."

"But hey, any of you guys wanna fight us again, we're up for a rematch." 17 looked around the field, flying up in the air. "It was pretty fun. Come on 16, let's go find this Goku guy." They two flew off, leaving 18 behind.

18 walked over to them, with Guri quickly falling into her fighting stance. She leaned down, with a swift movement, Guri felt an adjustment to her stance, an arm crossed over her body where previously it was in the air. "With one hit, I could've punched and collapsed your windpipe." She spoke with a smirk, before surprising them both by kissing Krillin on the cheek and flying off.

Guri blinked. "She... adjusted my stance..?" She asked quietly.

"She kissed me?!" Krillin looked at Guri, who stood up straight and shrugged. A groan reminded them of the scattered bodies of their beaten up friends. They split up to give senzu beans to everyone, with Vegeta flying off angrily. She knelt by Trunks and fed him a bean while Krillin did so to her future self. She jumped as he sat up quickly.

"They're so much stronger?"

"Trunks..?" She asked softly, a bit confused. This, in turn, startled the teen as he looked at her quickly.

"Oh, Guri, I'm glad you're okay. Did they hurt you..?" He stood up, glancing over as Future Guri stood up and dusted herself off.

"No, Uncle Krillin kept me from fighting... but..."

"But what?"

"Android 18 walked to us and I got in fighting stance... Instead of fighting me she actually... improved my stance and explained she could have killed me with one hit?"

"What? That doesn't sound like her..." Trunks was confused. "Why would she help you?"

"It might be because I'm not a threat."

"First time I fought Android 18 she snapped my leg in three places." Future Guri spoke as she walked to them. "She said I wasn't a threat."

"Then... This 18 must be different somehow." Guri frowned, with Future Guri sighing.

"Must be..."

"Oh, um, hey... Future me?" Guri looked up at her, pressing her pointer fingers together.

"What is it?" She was given a look of confusion.

"I thought of a name for you... I saw it in one of my text books. It's Milae. It means future in another language."

"Milae... It's awfully pretty for someone like me. A warrior. But..." She couldn't stand seeing the hope drain from the young girl's eyes. "It'll work for now." Milae smiled a bit, ruffling Guri's hair as she cheered. She had a small victory today, she supposed, even if the androids had freed themselves. She had saved lives by showing up. And well, until Goku woke up, that's really all they could do...
