"New neighbors?" I thought as I went inside there was a plate of eggs and sausage on the stove I warmed it up and ate my breakfast there was a note that said "dear y/n please greet the new neighbors I will be home late Cameron is coming back at 10 please be good while I'm gone love, Mom" i sigh mom has been working late and then going to the bar losing my dad was really hard on her so I try really hard to take care of Cam and do whatever she needs I decide to make cookies for the neighbors and when I was finished I put some on a paper plate and walked across the street and knocked on the door a tall boy with brown eyes and hair opened the door honestly he was really cute "hi I'm y/n fields and I live across the street with my brother and mom we wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood" I said "oh hi I'm Payton Moormeier" I handed him the cookies and he smiled at me which made me want to melt "thanks my mom and sister are going to love these" he said in a soft voice "it was no problem. Welcome to the neighborhood!" I said while smiling "thanks!" He replied blushing I smiled and said "see you around Payton" "you too y/n!"
