it was finally the weekend. i want to give a big shoutout to god for that one. it's saturday morning and surprisingly i'm actually busy. wow shocker

today i have to get my hair done while jackson gets his hair cut, i have to run to the store, and then i promised i would take jack to the pet store to look at the puppies. i really want a dog but i can barely take care of myself let alone a dog

it's currently 7:36 am. this should be ILLEGAL. our hair appointment is at 9:00 so i'm gonna get dressed and take jackson out to breakfast. i'm such a good mom

i get jackson up and then we both get dressed. once we are ready to leave we get into the car and leave to go get food

*skipping the breakfast and ride to hair salon because im lAzY yEaHhHh*

i had the FATTEST breakfast this morning and i'm surprised i can still walk (that's what she said). i unbuckle jack from his seat and we walk in. today i was feeling edgy and a little saucy so i'm dying my hair

jackson and i are natural blondes but i think i'm going to go dark brown. im such a rebel oMg. we meet with our hair dressers and they take us back. he asked me if i wanted to make any changes other than just a trim. really feeling myself today

*skip the hair process because once again i aM lAzY aF*

i haven't seen my hair yet and i'm beyond pumped to see it. he gave me the mirror and i swear i almost dropped it. i was in love

wow i look very different. maybe i should get my nose pierced. JK i already have that. i've had it since i was 16 so don't think i'm that rebellious

you know what i just remembered. I HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE. i hate shopping for food more than myself and that takes a lot. whatever im just gonna get it over with

*skipping again blah blah blah now at the pet store*

we walked in and went straight to the puppies. i was in awe. there was so many

"mommy look at that one" jackson said

broskis when i say this dog was cute, i mean it was cute

i screamed so loud in my head i couldn't think for a hot second

"can we get it pleaseee" i could tell he really wanted it. it was definitely something to think about

"how about we ask if we can see it" i said knowing damn well i'm probably gonna buy this dog. i asked the kid that was working there is we could go in her little puppy pin

we walked over there and i helped jackson over the semi tall gate. the puppy surprisingly ran right up to us. she had lots of energy which was a plus i guess. at least she won't be sleeping all day

after about 15 minutes of playing with her i came to a conclusion

"excuse me, can we adopt her" why am i doing this

"yeah of course just let me go get the paperwork" he said and walked off

i looked down at jackson and he was almost crying. i asked him why and he said he was so happy. i almost lost my marbles when he said that but i'm stable

the young kid came back with all the paper work and handed it to me along side a clipboard and a pen. once i finished signing the papers i was now a dog owner

we took her out of her cage and started shopping for food, toys, treats, etc. they put a collar on her before so we just had to buy a tag. we came up with a name pretty quickly. once we created the tag we added it to her collar

we are proud to welcome cali into the family

we purchased all of our items and walked out. once we got to the car cali was already asleep so i put her in the front seat with me because i didn't want jackson to bother her. i loaded all the items into the trunk and got into my car. i cant believe i just bought a dog

once we got home cali was already up and energetic. here we go again. i unbuckled jackson and took both of the animals inside. i shut the door so cali wouldn't run out and run away. i got everything out of the trunk and walked inside of course locking my car because we live in a high crime neighborhood and i don't trust anyone

i got inside locking the door behind me. i dropped all the things off at the counter. i started to unload everything we bought and started taking off the tags. i pulled out the dog toy and gave it to jackson so he could play with cali

i made a designated cupboard for cali and all of her treats and food. we bought a crate for her toys so they aren't all over the floor and i break my face tripping on one

i opened the food and put it in the container with a scooper and placed it in cali's cupboard

i didn't even realize what time it was and it was past jacks bedtime. he goes to bed at 8:30 and it was almost 10:00. this is what i meant by i can't take care of myself

i didn't bother giving him a bath tonight i just told him to get in pjs and brush his teeth. while he was doing that i took cali out to go to the bathroom so she won't do it in my house. i'm going to buy a doggie door but i can't install it. i'll just get grayson too :)

once she went to the bathroom i told her to come back inside and go upstairs with me. once we got to my room i changed into something comfortable and as soon as i was done i hear

"mommy!"

i go into jackson's room to tuck him in and say goodnight. i brought the puppy with me so he could say goodnight to her too. once he was tucked in i told him goodnight, turned off his light, and closed his door half way. cali's bed was in the corner of my bedroom so if she was crying i would hear her

i take off my makeup and brush my teeth. once i do that i see cali already asleep on my bed. i wasn't going to move her she was too cute, so i just let her sleep there. i crawl into bed and put the covers over me

today was very hectic

another chapter completed. i'm feeling very inspired with this chapter and i want to start writing longer chapters it's just i hate dialogue and i hate writing it so that's why my stories are always so short. also add me on instagram @/sagittariusdolans and dm so we can talk. i need friends :)
