we got back home and the doctor said jack can go back to school but i have seen those musty kids and i really don't want them around him, especially with fresh stitches

i took jackson up stairs so he try and sleep. grayson walked in after us so i told him to hold up while i put jackson down

i walked back down stairs and showed him where i wanted my dog door to be

when we got home the food was untouched and the house was not torn up which was a great surprise for me

grayson set down everything he needed to install the door and started working. i felt bad if i walked away so i sat there and kept asking him if he needed help

"olivia misses hanging out with you" grayson spoke up

"awe really, i didn't think she really like me not gonna lie" i'm awkward

"are you kidding me? she loves you, she talks about how you're so pretty, sweet, and really funny"

my heart is sobbing and my eyes are about to as well

"well you can tell her jackson and i really miss her too and we would love to have her back sometime"

i really did miss her. i never had a daughter so i never got the girl time that i do with olivia

"how about today after i pick her up i can bring her back here and her and jackson can play?"

"that sounds great just know jackson isn't going to be running around and jumping everywhere" i can't handle him getting hurt again

he laughed and continued working on the door. cali really digs him and doesn't bark at him

grayson seems like a guy to not hurt a thing and is always nice to people no matter what and that's what i love about him. he's a great role model for jackson because jackson really hasn't had a male figure in his life

over all i'm really grateful for grayson and really happy that i met him

"and done" grayson said snapping me back into reality

"alright i'm almost late so i'm going to get olivia and be right back"

once he walked out the door i grabbed cali's treats and tried to get her to go in and out of the door

she doing pretty well for having such a big door for a smaller dog

*time skip to when grayson walks through the door*

"SYDNEY" olivia screamed running through the door

she ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck as i bent down. i picked her up and swung her around a couple times

"i missed you so much" she said

"i missed you so much more and so has jackson"

as soon as i said jackson her eyes lit up. she hasn't seen him in maybe a day but she loves him like a sibling

since she's an only child like myself she probably tends to have an easy attachment to people because she doesn't get attention from anyone except her parent

"OLIVIA" jackson screamed from the top of the stairs

"walk down the stairs or so help me"

he walked down the stairs slowly. i think he learned his lesson and won't run down the stairs again

once he reached the bottom he gave olivia the biggest hug ever. jackson for a fact has an easy attachment to people because he's just like me

at this point i was almost crying because everything that was going was so cute

cali came running up to olivia and started licking her hand. olivia started to pet her and now her and cali are basically best friends

the two went running up the stairs to go play with their toys which will be cleaned up by me

grayson and i walked into the living room and i turned on the tv. i just put on food network because triple d was on (if you know what triple d is we should be best friends. k bye)

"hey so i was thinking. since i was being a jerk i want to make it up to you. tonight we go out to dinner, like a date" grayson said

"yeah. i can get my mom to watch the kids if that's okay with you?"

"that sounds perfect. i'll pick you up at 6:00 so we can get to your moms house and drop off the kids"

did big man just ask me on a date? wow i feel good about myself

i sat back and enjoyed watching guy feiri shove a cheeseburger down his throat

*time skip to 4:30 when grayson and liv are leaving*

"bye sydney, bye jackson" liv waves bye to us

"be ready by 6" he whispered in my ear which sent tingles up and down my body

jackson said goodbye and went into the kitchen to find something to eat, of course he did

"you and olivia are going to grandmas house tonight because grayson and i are going somewhere ok" i said as i was walking up the stairs

"are you guys going on a date?" jackson said with a growing smile on his face while raising his eyebrows

"yes but don't say anything to olivia incase she already knows"

he gave me and okay sigh with his fingers and continued to look for food

i went up stairs and picked out an outfit then got in the shower
