Meeting the New Student, Are We Willing To Get Along?

During the following chapter, Kim and Y/N manage to settle things with a 'decent conversation' leading them into 'confessing'. Despite all that, they went through alongside friends they manage to keep it calm, but it becomes clear things will be different as a new student attends the DWMA

Narrator's POV

Stein announced to the class that there will be a new student coming in. Unfortunately class soon ended but the student was taking a tour

???: This school is like a maze

Marie: Well the academy is large, but you'll get used to it once you settle down here

???: Okay then

Meanwhile

After class Y/N was with his siblings talking about the new student, Kim and Jackie was also alongside them

Ruby: I can't believe we didn't get the chance to see the new student

Yang saw Ruby walking ahead of her with a sad expression on her face

Yang: Ruby, what's the matter?

Ruby: *fake smiling* Oh nothing's wrong

Y/N: Don't lie to us, Ruby. Because I know you're on the same page

Ruby: Seems you were reading my mind

He gave her his signature smirk, he patted her head as they walked

Y/N: What can I say? We're family and we look out for each other

Yang: True, but I think you're the one who needs to look out for us

He 'glared' at his Sister

Y/N: I may be the oldest. But there are times you must learn how to handle your own

Leone: We can, you just need to rely on yourself once in a while

Y/N: I know that Sister

Kim and Jackie were behind them 'overhearing' the conversation

Kim: Are you sure they're doing fine?

Jacqueline: I think so... Perhaps we shouldn't interrupt them

Kim: I guess

Jackie: Kim what's the matter?

Kim: Nothing Jackie

However... Kim was in deep thought

Kim's thought: I don't know what's going on. But something's telling me that he and I need to talk

Meanwhile...

Marie and Sid were walking with the student. She was walking around the school until she saw some students coming out of the classes

Sid: These here are the classes that you'll assemble,

???: Wow... There are so many. But which ones will I be attending?

Marie: We will plan your schedule after the tour, I'm sure you'll like it here

???: I'll think about it

Sid: Marie, we should make plans now

Marie: Oh. Sure thing

Marie was talking with Sid when they came to the third floor she saw students coming the other way

With the others...

Kim: So you want to meet the new student that badly?

Ruby: Not actually. I just want to meet them
