"How do you know Isaac?"
"Funny story. He and I actually met in football camp, he was a senior during that time but he kept on cutting class so he got held back."
"I can't believe I haven't noticed him before."
"You were too busy dating your ex boyfriend, Stephan. I mean I would always invite him at the house but you were never really home."
"Huh. Well, he's been reasonably nice to me and he would always say the right things to say."
"Well. That's isaac for you."
"Yup!"
I finished chewing my last piece of protein pancake, I stood up, placed my dish into the dishwasher machine and headed up to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. After a few minutes, I wore my Invisalign, headed to mom's room, kissed her goodbye, said bye to my bother and headed out the door. It was Andrews' dayoff so I drove myself to school instead, it wasn't as traffic as I hoped it would be, heck it was Thursday after all so LA morning traffic isn't as bad as it would be on another day.
I finally arrived at the school parking lot, parked my car, walked up to my locker only to see Isaac waiting for me.
"What's up B?" Isaac said with his cute boy next door smile
"Just arrived a few minutes ago and I wanna talk to you about something."
"Hmm. Okay! But Let me walk you to class."
"Sure." I said, as we walked, I thought about what my brother told me so I waited for a few minutes and asked him.
"So. You know my brother, Thomas?" I said
"Yup!" He stopped midway near to my classroom, and looked at me
"He told me that you guys were the same batch but you got held back because you kept on missing school." I said
"About that. I only got held back because I had to make a living." He said
"I see, it's nice to know that you wanna help your family. My friends would never." Speaking of my friends, I haven't seen Luisa or Sabrina around which is strange, the dynamic trio would always be in sight.
He giggled and said, "I haven't seen your friends around and well, my dad and I aren't on good terms but I'll save that story for another day. Right now, you've got to get to class."
We both laughed as he dropped me off at the door, we both waved at each other as he walked to his class. I went in and saw Luisa sitting by the window, I walked over to her and sat beside her.
"Where have you been and where is Sabrina?" I said looking concerned
"She had a dentist appointment but she'll be back before noon."
"Are you guys still arguing?"
"Nahh. We're good! I actually have to tell you something." She said, her eyes saddened
"Sure. During lunch?"
"Yup!"
We then did our courseworks until we got dismissed. We then walked to the cafeteria, got our food and headed over to our table. After we sat down, she then took a deep breath and sighed.
"Bella. I'm about to tell you something, I know I should've told you this before but I was too afraid that you'd get mad at me and I'd lose you as my best friend."
"I'm all ears and besides I'll probably forgive you for whatever mess you made before Stephan and I broke up."
"Wait? So you know? That me and stephan kissed?"
