Chapter 4 - Last Night

I woke up with a raging headache, as I rubbed my forehead, I heard a loud yawn and saw Isaac beside me. He was wearing a brown muscle tee while he had the craziest yet cutest bed hair in the entire planet. I quietly stood up, looked around the room to see that we haven't left his friend's home.

I then opened the door to take a peak and saw Jen and Brian on the couch cuddling, as I went back to sit on the bed, Isaac opened his sleepy eyes and smiled at me.

"Good morning!" were the first words he said to me

"Good morning." I said, still thinking of what happened

He then sat up, smiled at me and placed his slippers on.

"What happened last night?" I said looking around at the room

"Well, you and Brian drank a ton of cocktails, I was also talking to my friends, after awhile things got crazy since you were dancing around."

"And?" I said

"After that, you sat on the couch, placed your head on my shoulder and said, "can we please go to bed?"

I laughed a bit, he then continued the story and I finally remember the events that happened last night. After an hour of catching up, Isaac went over to his dresser and got a pair of joggers along with a white shirt.

He then walked to me and said, "I'll just change then I'll take you out for breakfast."

I smiled, sat on the bed and checked my phone. I received a few messages from mom and the event stylist about the barbecue that we're hosting later this evening. My eyes widened and I called up Jasper and talked to him about our catering order along with calling Michelle about the event decorations.

After a long phone call, Isaac was finally out of the bathroom. I then gathered my things and headed out the door, he knew that I was stressed so he wore his shoes as fast as he could and walked me out of the apartment.

"Aren't you gonna wake up your friends?" I said while we were walking to the elevator

"Nahhh. I'll just let them rest, so I heard you on the phone. What was that all about?"

"Okay. It's just that my mom is hosting this annual barbecue tonight and I'm in charge of the catering orders along with coordinating with the event stylist. I received messages from her and I only remembered today." I said

"Well! Do you want me to help you? I mean after breakfast, we can meet up with the catering company and the event stylist." He offered to help

I smiled shyly and said, "Yes please! Usually my friends would help me with these things but sadly we're on a rough patch right now but yeah I could really use your help."

He then nodded, as we walked out of the elevator, we brisk walked ourselves to the car, he started the car and drove to a breakfast place called "Botegga Louie", he then parked the car.

We walked over to the restaurant, got seated, checked their menu, we checked out their dishes until we finally decided what to order.

As the waiter approached, I asked isaac to go first, so he ordered one smoked salmon Benedict while I ordered bagel and cream cheese. We then ordered our drinks, the waiter repeated the order, and walked away.

"Is this your first time coming here?" I asked

"My friends and I would always go here before during the summer."

"Ohh! That's good to hear, what's your favorite dish?" I asked

"Well, Jen would always order a parfait, while the boys would order French toast or smoked salmon Benedict." He said
