Mythica Academy ~||~ The Rise of Vixium

Chapter 2

It felt like we were zooming until finally, we stop.

The bright light that covered our vision from before is now gone, revealing the most beautiful scenery one could imagine of. 

We were on top of a hill, completely green, with a forest on our left that didn't look like any other forest I've seen, but when I observed a bit more I see that it's actually not a forest, it's a garden, planted by goodness knows who. There were trees of almost every color, and is sort of glowing in the center, in which there is this giant, purple, blue, orange leafed tree.

It was beautiful, but before I could take in any more of my surroundings, a man appears behind my brother, scaring him, which makes me jump.

"Que demonios?! (What the hell?!)" My brother exclaims, and honestly, quite loudly

"Aya, hermano, callar! Me sorprendiste! (Aya, bro, shut up! You surprised me!)" I yell at him

"Lo siento, lo siento, but he freaking startled me!" He says

I realize the man was staring at our exchange "Oh yeah, how in the world did you get here?" 

"Both of you are Alyssa Blackwood and Zach Anderson, if I'm not mistaken?" He asks us, not bothering to answer my question apparently

Me and my brother both nod, still a little shaken.

"Come with me, it's time to go to the academy." The mysterious man says, and my brother instantly follows him.

I got this weird vibe from the man so I grab my brother's hand, stopping the man in his tracks

"Get out of there my little squirrel, he isn't from the academy" A voice says in my head, which confirms my suspicions.

I look to the academy that's behind me and pull my brother along, going opposite to where the man was heading, and sprinted and as fast as I could, leaving the man in shock

The man was frozen, but it didn't take him long to realize what was going on. He starts running to us, screaming "Where are you going?!"

I run and run and run as fast as I can, dragging my brother with me as we stumble over some rocks and finally after what it seemed like minutes of running, I see the entrance, and there's a guard.

I scream on the top of my lungs, "Help!" to the guard, and he quickly reacts, disappearing and reappearing behind us as we run into the school's entrance.

He flings a ruby-colored crystal waistband to me and I catch. "Get this to the first person you see!" He shouts at me

Without a second thought, I dash over into the hallways of the school, slipping and banging my body onto the wall at the turn.

Everyone's eyes were on me as I shakily stand up and show the ruby rune. Everyone gasps and a few students that look like seniors quickly react.

A bright, orange-haired girl did a wolf whistle and all of a sudden five other students start changing into wolves... wait what?!

I duck as a dragon flies over me, and someone who I assume is their rider climbs on top of them, armor appearing on them.

Two other people, a amber-eyed girl and a grey-eyed boy step forward, with brooms and wands at the ready. They mount their brooms and coats and hats appear on them.

All of them quickly disappear to the front gate, in which I remember, I left my brother at.

Someone harshly grabs my hand, takes the rune, and tries pulling me to wherever the rest of the students were heading.
