Two hole days had passed since Ashton had hung out with Luke, and it seemed like a life time, to both boys. Ashton was currently visiting his mum in hospital, he was there alone with his mum talking to her, telling her about Luke, but skipping the fact he had started to get feelings for Luke. Anne Marie smiles at her son,
"That's great Ash, he seems sweet." She nods, rubbing her thumb over Ashton's hand.
"Yeah he is." Ashton whispers, running his fingers through his hair, "I'm going to go now. I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah love, bye, I love you lots."
"Love you too Mum, bye." Ashton waves as he leaves the room smiling at his Mum. He walks down the halls slowly, not really in any rush to get home, after all, Harry and Lauren were still in school for another 3 hours. As he was walking passed a room he heard someone crying inside, Ashton absolutely hated hearing people cry, it mad him feel sad, even if he didn't know them. Being the curios kid he is, Ashton peeks his head inside the room, and he's shocked to say at the least when he see's Luke sitting in a chair beside a boy in a hospital bed, Luke has his head down and tears are dripping off his chin, and Ashton's heart breaks into a million pieces seeing Luke cry like this. The boy in the hospital bed is the one who notices Ashton standing in the doorway staring at Luke.
"Are you fucking right?" The boy snaps, causing Luke to look up at Ashton. Luke's face turns a little red, embarrassed that Ashton is seeing him cry.
"Sorry, I uh, I'm one of Luke's friends." Ashton mumbles, nervously rocking back and forth on his feet. The boy looks at Luke raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, um, Michael this is Ashton." Luke whispers wiping his eyes.
"Oh so you're the Ashton?" Michael smiles a little, "Luke always tells me about you."
Michaels words only cause Luke to blush even more. Ashton shuffles into the room standing by Luke.
"Well yeah, I guess I'm the Ashton." Ashton smiles a little looking down at an embarrassed Luke.The three boys sit in Michaels hospital room together for quite some time, and at first its awkward and quiet, but Ashton speaks up.
"Why were you crying Luke?" He asks, grabbing Luke's hand.
"It was nothing.." Luke mutters.
"Okay, well uh I've gotta go pick up my brother and sister from school. Luke same time tonight?" Ashton smiles.
"Um, could I maybe come with you now? And we could hang at your house. If it's no trouble I mean. Oh my god I shouldn't have even asked nevermind my house at eight." Luke rambles.
"Luke, shut up." Ashton laughs, "Come on, lets go." Ashton grabs Luke's hand leading him out to his car.
"So I gotta pick up my brother and sister from school first, then we can hang at mine for the night okay, my Gran will be there too just so you know." Ashton explains, Luke just nods smiling at Ashton. They drive down the surprisingly quiet road and Ashton pulls up in front of the school, shortly after two energetic kids jump into the car, babbling about their days.
"Harry, Lauren, this is my friend Luke, I want you to be nice to him because he's staying over tonight." Ashton smiles, they both smiling saying hi to Luke.
"Ashton I don't have any clothes I can't sleep over." Luke whispers chewing on his lip.
"Luke chill, you can wear some of mine." Ashton chuckles, he stops in front of his house, Harry and Lauren race eachother inside, Luke smiles at their behaviour. Ashton grabs Lukes hand walking inside.
"Hi Gran." He calls out. "Just so you know I've got a friend here."
"Okay love." She calls back, Ashton takes Luke up to his room, he closes the door, patting the space on the bed next to him. Luke timidly sits down, smiling at Ashton.
"I like your posters." Luke says, looking and the small array of posters Ashton has hanging on his wall.
"Thanks." Ashton nods.
"So, what's wrong with Michael?" Ashton asks quietly, playing with Luke's fingers. Luke looks down chewing on the inside of his cheek.
"Michael has depression and he's suicidal." Luke whispers.
"Oh, I'm sorry Luke." Ashton mutters, "But why were you crying?"
"Michael said some stuff that upset me."
"Oh, you know it just hurt me seeing you cry, which sounds dumb I'm sorry but you're already really special to me." Ashton says quietly. Luke looks at Ashton smiling wide, intertwining their fingers.
"Really?" Luke whispers his eyes sparkling, his cheeks going a little rosy.
"Yeah."
Luke looks down, he leans closer to Ashton staring at his lips, he presses their lips together closing his eyes not wanting to see Ashtons reaction just incase it's bad. And to Luke's surprise he feels Ashton kissing back, their lips moving together for a good minute or two, Luke pulls away, smiling at Ashton, his face still covered in a blush. Both of their lips are swollen as they sit their staring at one another taking in each others beauty.
"That was..." Luke starts.
"Incredible." Ashton whispers finishing Lukes sentence.
Ashton wraps his arms around Luke, staring into his pretty blue eyes.
"You know you have the most mesmorising eyes I've ever seen." Ashton points out, causing yet again another blush to spread across Luke's cheeks.
"And you're bloody adorable when you blush." Ashton smirks laughing a bit.
"Well if we're going to sit here giving out compliments, you have the cutest dimples possible." Luke smiles poking Ashton dimples.
"They're dumb." Ashton huffs, Luke simply shakes his head, pulling Ashton so they're laying down on the bed, staring into each others eyes.
"Can I kiss you again?" Luke asks, staring at Ashtons lips.
"Go for it." Ashton smiles, leaning forward capturing Lukes lips in his, sharing another soft kiss.
