Serpent queen

In Jughead's POV

I was just a serpent. Like for not even a week. I didn't had to do anything to come in. I just needed to get my jacket and it was good.
Right now I'm working at the whyte wyrm. It's a serpents bar.
While I was pouring some drinks in, someone walked in who I never thought she would. When she came in everyone went silent, and looked up at her. She nodded and everyone goes back to what they were doing.

In Betty's POV

It was another long day, for most of the people the day would end soon. But for me, it doesn't.
As I walked in to the whyte wyrm, everyone looked up to me, like always. I nodded as a sign  that they could go to the things what they were doing again. I walked over to the bar.
"One glass of white wine please" I asked.
"Betty Cooper?!" "Jughead Jones" What was he doing her?
"Why are you here?" Ugh.
"I could ask the same to you. One glass of white wine." I got it, but he wouldn't stop asking.
"Did mama Cooper let you out of the cabin?"
"You know, since when are you a serpent? Did you ever do the task?" The task to become a serpent. And the acceptance from the serpent leader.
"No. They said I wouldn't have to do it."
"Who is 'they'?" This is weird.
"Some guy named 'Tall boy'." I stood up, that freakin tall boy!
"Tall boy! Where are you?!" Tall boy looked up to me and raised his hand slowly. "I think we need to have a little chat, right?" He nodded as a yes. I walked over to him, and sat down next to him.
"Have you recently named somebody a serpents? Like, I don't know, that boy over there?" I knew my voice was full of sarcasm.
"I did. I thought he was ready." "Did he do the task?" I asked. "No. He didn't, but his"
"I don't want to hear it Tall boy. He needs to do the task, you know that too." He nodded. So I walked over to Jughead and told him what I said to Tall boy.
"I know what Tall boy told you. But it's a rule, so you need to do the task."
"Fine" He said, very secure about himself.
"You have 10 minutes to learn the serpent rules. Toni will take you to a different room, apart from everyone."
"10 minutes?!"
"You think that's a lot? Sweet Pea, Toni, Fangs, me and even Cheryl only got 5 minutes. So get your ass up there and learn it." He was gone.

10 minutes later

"Rule number one!" That's the last and most important rule.
"A serpent never stands on its own!" He yelled.
"Good. That was task one. Only one task to do."
The most hardest task. Me, Toni, Sweet Pea, Fangs and Cheryl managed to keep standing, so I'm curious if he will too.
"I need; Fangs, Cheryl, Toni, Sweet Pea and..."
At that moment FP walked in. "And FP"
FP looked confused.
"You all need to come with me, Jughead, get ready for your final task."

As we were all outside, I told them what we need to do.
"FP because Jughead is your son, you can hit him not that hard and as first. After FP Cheryl is gonna hit him. Then Fangs and Toni. And as last, you Sweet Pea, and I will give him some too." Toni signed to Jughead that he can come outside. Everyone stood in a line. Me and Sweet Pea at the end. As Jughead got punched, I was waiting for him.
Jughead came all beaten up to Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea punched him hard, Jughead kept standing the first time, and the second time, and the third time. After that it was my turn.
"You got something good?" He asked while he spit out blood.
"Look at that!" It was a trick, and he fell for it.
I kicked him in the nuts, and hit him twice with a bitch slap.
"Good job, you're officially a serpent now." I gave him his jacket. "Come, I will clean your blood." I said when everyone went home.
"You don't have to, I can do it myself."
"No, I won't let you do it by yourself. Now come with me to my home so we can get you cleaned up."
As we walked home he asked me what I was doing with the serpents. I didn't told him right away. But I told him enough to figure it out.

At Betty's trailer

I grabbed the first aid kit and cleaned up his blood. He shrugged sometime but not as much as I thought he would.
"Do you, eh, do you have ice or something like that?" He nodded to the place I kicked him.
"Yeah, I will grab a bag of peas." I said laughing.
"Okay, so let me say this out loud. You are a serpent by blood. You're father was the serpent king, he died, so you got serpent queen?" He said the truth while he was holding the bag of peas against his nuts.
"Yeah, that's the truth."
"So, that time you told me to not wear a serpent jacket at school. And I got a time-out. You did that?!"
"Yep"
"You're kinda badass"
"I know!" I looked him deep in the eyes. I was about to kiss him when he kissed me first. He deepened the kiss, and he stood up. He picked me up and went to the bedroom. Nothing happened tho, he fell asleep when we lay in bed.

The next day

I woke up by my alarm. When I sat up, I saw him laying next to me.
"Oh, that's right..." I mumbled. But hard enough to wake him up.
"Good morning beautiful" He said while he was sitting up.
"Good morning, just so you know, I texted your dad saying that you fell asleep in my couch. So he knows that you're here."
"Thank you" He grinned, ugh, he melted me.
"I'm sorry to say this, but I need to do some serpent business. See you later." While I said that I was getting dressed. I grabbed a breakfast bar and went to the whyte wyrm.
Me and Jug? Oh, well, I don't know what that exactly is.
