"I'll wait for you in the front of the school and then we can head out to that cafe you can't stop bugging me about"

Viel spoke as she pulled out her lunch and began to eat with the rest of her friends, Jungkook fist pump the air with joy and smiled

"You won't regret it!"

Jungkook spoke and stole a piece of Viel's lunch, she groaned and continued eating as if nothing happened. They talked and talked until lunch was over and had to get to class

Walking outside the school together, Viel couldn't help but question how she felt for her best friend. A part of her told her that all best friends just feel that way with each other but a part of her thought that she actually might love Jungkook but not in the same way he loves her

"Alright, let's go over there after we drop our bags off at home!"

Jungkook explained happily as he grabbed her hand and ran to Viel's house which was the closest, she felt really happy feeling his warm hands on her slightly cold ones

"Oh Kook, did you hear that some kid from our class is currently suffering from that Hanahaki disease? Poor kid, I hope he gets over the person soon"

Viel spoke in a sad tone as they both reached her house, he nodded and let out a sad sigh

"Yeah, I just hope the same thing doesn't happen for me when I fall for someone"

He spoke and let out a short chuckle. Viel walked up to her room and put her bag down, she turns around to walk out the door and notices Jungkook putting his bag down right next to hers as well

"So, where is this so called great cafe you wanted to show me for so long?"

Viel asked as she locked the door after her and Jungkook got out of the house together

"Well, you know how Spring is like right there? Well, this cafe has a really pretty spring theme and since I know how much of a sucker you are for flowers, I thought it would be a good idea to take you there."

Explained Jungkook as he shoved his hands in his jean pocket and continued to walk while Viel felt her heart begin to pick up speed. She let the smile spread across her face and felt her face warm up a little

"Thanks Kook"

She spoke with generosity in her tone, Jungkook smiled at her and nodded

"No problem, anything for my best friend"

He spoke cheerfully and that title that they've used on each other for years caused her to have slight difficulty with her breathing and slight dizziness, Jungkook noticed his best friend wasn't next to him anymore and turned around to see Viel, looking as if she was about to pass out. He quickly wrapped his arm around her and let her lay against him

"Hey Vivi, are you ok? You didn't skip any meals right?"

Jungkook began bombarding the girl with questions as he sat her down on a nearby bench and she nodded her head

"I'm fine, I guess I'm just a little hungry."

She took a deep breath but it was difficult to do so, for Jungkook it looked like she just let out a sigh

"Come on! I want to see the place already!"

She exclaimed as she grabbed his arm and began to drag him away from the bench, the best friend sighed and walked alongside her while leading her to the cafe

"Just, let me know if you need a break. This has been happening to you lately and it makes me worried"

Jungkook spoke with a sad look on his face, Viel gave him nothing but a sincere smile along with a small 'I'm fine'

"Alright, here we are"

He spoke as he opened the door for both of them and were hit with the smell of lavenders, Viel smiled brightly at Jungkook as they both walked to an empty booth. Both of them grabbed a menu that was sitting on the table and were choosing on what to buy

"I want the ice cream flower! It looks so delicious!"

Viel spoke as she felt her mouth water but it tasted metallic to her

"Alright, I'll get the Rose Shake. I'll be back with our orders then"

He spoke and stood up as he walked to the front. While he was gone, Viel felt sick to her stomach, the taste of blood still on her mouth. She covered her mouth as she felt something come up but she couldn't hold it in and there it went. She opened her eyes, expecting a disgusting liquid to be spread across the booth but what she saw instead made her want to cry. There was a bit of blood but not a lot and yet, that wasn't what had her almost in tears. It was the blood covered flower she spotted in front of her on the table and at that moment she knew

She too was suffering from the Hanahaki Disease
