A knock sounded at the door. Alice and Rosalie shared a look and Rosalie walked to get it. Celia looked at Alice through the mirror and frowned at the glint of mischief in the girls eyes.
"Who could that be, Alice?" Celia asked accusingly, but she could already smell her sister. Alice smiled sheepishly as she continued to do Celia's hair.
The day the Volturi would come to Forks was fast approaching. The Cullens were tense about it, and Celia had yet to mention it to the pack; whom she hung out with often. It was nice to have friends and be able to go places during the day.
This day, however, was not a day for the Volturi. Edward had insisted on taking Celia on a proper date. She wasn't sure what was planned, but it was obvious that she couldn't go out in public. She had thought about the possibility of going to a different reality to have a proper date, but she decided she wanted to know what Edward had planned.
The door opened slowly, and Rosalie stepped in followed by a sheepish Cathleen. Celia pulled an awkward smile at the human, whose heartbeat was strong.
"Hey, CeCe." Something twinged inside Celia. She hadn't heard the nickname since she was a child. She stared at Cathleen with wide eyes, as she had forgotten a lot of things from her human life after the change. Mostly because to her, it had actually been over a decade since she'd seen her parents.
"Oh, uh--" Celia shook her head lightly, "-- hey Cathy." She answered quietly. Cathleen couldn't help but smile at her own childhood nickname. Alice, however looked at a stressed Celia in the mirror and patted her shoulder, leaning down right next to her ear.
"Sometimes it's hard; to realize you've forgotten," Alice looked like she knew the thoughts running through the newborns head, "but one of the biggest upsides to being a vampire is having forever to make new memories."
Celia smiled gratefully at Alice, who smirked back in response. Rosalie also smiled softly at Celia and told her that it was time for her to go.
Celia hugged Cathleen gently. She feared what would happen about her sister when the Volturi arrive. Edward explained that they were coming because they had somehow caught word of her gift, and that one of the king's could go through Celia's thoughts and would see her sisters gift showing so thoroughly as a human.
Celia walked to Edwards room, knocking on the door softly before entering. He turned from his spot at the radio, already scolding her for knocking and reminding her that it was her room, too. He stopped at the sight of her, and smiled brightly.

"It's June," he laughed

"It's June," he laughed.
"I can't feel the sun," she reminded. "Besides, it's not like it's sunny." Edward shook his head with a laugh.
"Are you ready, doll?" He grinned. She nodded excitedly.
Edward led Celia into the woods, and she quickly recognized their path. Upon arrival, she marveled at the beautiful meadow and the equiptment Edward had set up in the middle of the clearing. She grinned up at him, and he smiled back while gesturing for her to sit.

The vampires found themselves giggling with each other as they watched a movie in the meadow.
"You're such a dork," Edward chuckled, making Celia gasp and feign offense.
"Nooo," she shook her head, laughing, "listen. If there really are an infinite number of universes, that means I could be in our favorite movies, tv shows, and books plus anywhere else I want. I'm gaining way better control of it, also." She argued with a grin. Edward couldn't help but smile down at her.
"You're right, that is so amazing. You are so amazing," he sighed, studying her face. He was worried about the Volturi. He knew they would want her, but mostly he feared that Aro would see what he had been told.
"She is capable of so much more than you know."
Now that he knew Celia was even more powerful, he knew Aro would see it when he rummaged his mind. Aro would know that Celia was capable of more than just jumping realities, and he would never stop. He never stopped trying to get Alice.
"Thank you, Edward," Celia sighed, falling back onto her back, her head landing on a fluffy pillow.
"You're welcome, Celia."
"Hey, Edward?"
"Yes, dear?" He lowered himself onto his own pillow, reaching for Celia's small hand and lacing their fingers together.
"Do you remember anything, from your life... Before?" Edward's lips twitched up.
"I remember my mother. I remember my name and I remember how much pain I was in before and during the change. Its been almost a century, though, so I don't remember much." Celia pursed her lips.
"What was your name?" She asked quietly. She didn't want to upset Edward, but her curiosity was getting the better of her. He didn't mind, though. He liked that she wanted to know more, so he squeezed her hand lightly as he answered.
"Edward Anthony Masen Jr." He spoke proudly. Celia toyed with the idea of being Celia Cullen, and she couldn't help but think, at least it won't be Liddell; hero to Underland.
She pushed the thought from her mind. She knew her thoughts were loud and clear to Edward, but tried to ignore it.
"I think that's a beautiful name, Edward." She looked over to him. He stared back and couldn't help but think about how stunning she was. He had no idea how he had gotten so lucky. When Edward was turned, he was upset. For a long time, he didn't think he would ever find someone like Carlisle found Esme.
Then Celia rushed into his life, mumbling about being late and taking him to her world. She trusted him from the moment they met, and he loved her from then. The man met Celia's eyes and spoke.
"I think Celia Cullen is a beautiful name."
