"Tony don't you think we're a little old to be playing 'Never Have I Ever'?" Steve asked as Tony handed him a glass filled with what I assume to be vodka. Jesus Christ Tony I have my first day of training tomorrow!
"Steve not all of us are ninety-something years old." Tony fired back, handing me my glass. As soon as it was in my hand, the strong scent that resembled rubbing alcohol filled my nose. Yup, definitely vodka. "And besides, it's the best way to learned each other's juicy secrets."
"God, you're a fucking pre-teen girl." I groaned, as I threw my head back in annoyance. Tony had gotten his science bro up here as well to join in the childish activities - much to his protest. Wanda and Vision remained in the kitchen.
"Oh shut the hell up." Tony muttered, taking his place on the ground between Clint and I's seats. I looked at Steve expectantly to which he replied looking confused.
"Aren't you gonna yell at him for using potty language?" I asked, cocking my right eyebrow. Now Steve groaned, "I'm never gonna get past that."
"Okay, okay, enough chatter. I'll start. Never have I ever been Tony Stark's daughter." He looked at me with a smirk. "Come on Cedar, drink up."
"Technically...-" I started, but got cut off by a groan from Tony.
"Never have I ever flirted with a member of the team." Bucky cut off Tony's protest to my statement and sent him a look.
"Oh okay, so this is how it's gonna be?" Tony asked, taking a sip from his glass. I still refused to drink from mine. Nat took a sip of hers as well, as did Bucky and Clint. "Never have I ever worked with Hydra."
Bucky stiffened as his hard gaze pierced through Tony. My face heated at Tony's words as I realized that I have to drink. Hoping no one would notice, I brought my glass to my lips and let the liquid flow between them.
"Hold on.... what?" Steve's eyes landed on me and I discreetly drank from my glass. Before I knew it, everyone was staring at me with disbelief.
"Cedar, what aren't you telling us?" Natasha folded her arms and leaned into the circle. I could feel myself sink into the couch.
"I-I didn't know... I didn't know th-they were Hydra." I tried defending myself, but all the angry gazes made it extremely difficult to stand my ground. Tony looked at me almost heartbroken.
"What happened?" Steve's face went stone cold as he demanded answers.
Flashback
~After a long and quite agonizing day of work, I came home to finally relax. You'd think that messing up one person's order wouldn't end up ruining your entire day, but it did. After the fiasco that it caused, I was ready to come home and binge some Supernatural with my leftover Chinese food from last night.
Only a few minutes after I got home, there was a loud knocking on my door. Curious, I peeked through the peephole. There stood a man in an official looking suit, finely pressed and ironed. 'What could he want? I don't recall doing anything illegal recently?' Opening the door cautiously, I decided to find out what he wanted.
"Cedar Evans, it's a pleasure to meet you." He held his hand out to me. The man with dark hair and eyes remained a professional expression on his quite handsome features. I hesitantly met his hand with mine to be greeted with a firm handshake. "May I come in?"
"Um, yeah... I-I guess." I stepped aside to let the man whose name I still haven't caught into my apartment. He look around momentarily before turning around to face me.
"I don't have much time on my hands so I must make this quick," He began, "My organisation has been keeping a close eye on you. We haven't yet found someone with the ability to hack into such high level security sites as you have. We're incredibly impressed to say the least. We have a proposition for you that would be ridiculous to pass up."
