When I finally became conscious again it was 2 am. As predicted, there is a massive bruise on my face. I have finally had enough. I would call patty but she's away. I scrolled down and saw a contact who I almost started crying at the sight of it. I had no other choice. I had to call him.
"R-Ricky?" I asked when he picked up.
"Ebony?" He asked back.
"Is everything okay?" He asked. He was always full of questions.
"You're still in th-the states right?" I whimpered. If he said no I would be doomed.
"Yeah, but what's wro-"
"Can I stay with you for a little while?" I cut him off.
"Of course, you're my sister. I will be over in 10. Be ready to jump out the window, okay?"
"M'kay"
With that I hung up. Yes my brother is, Ricky Olson. That would make me, Ebony Olson, his younger sister.
I grabbed my things and stuffed them into a bag as fast as I could. I can finally get out of this hell, some people would call a house. I sat down on my bed and looked around my room. I sighed as I looked around. I heard a pebble thrown against my window. That would be Ricky. I opened it up and he held a finger to his lips to tell me to be quiet. I tossed him my bag and then climbed onto the ledge near the window. I slowly climbed down and jumped onto Ricky when I was down. It had been ages since I last saw him and I almost forgot how he felt. Once we had finished hugging we snuck out to his car and drove to his house. The car ride was silent.
When we pulled up to a decent looking house he looked at me directly in the eye.
"Okay, the band and and I all live together. Don't ask why it's just easier. You can stay in the spare bedroom okay?" He informed me. I nodded as we got out of his car and into the house. I tiptoed up the stairs and went to the room.
"I'm right down the hall if you need me okay?" He smiled. I have a simple nod, hugged him again and sat by the window.
Ricky is my moon. He gives me hope in the darkest times.
