He stood there , his mask splattered with fresh blood and with a gun pointing at me . I had my back to him and was thinking about ways of escaping when he said " U have nowhere to run princess" and that made me freeze in shock .

The voice sounded like him but it can't be him right ? But he even used princess. It can't be him he would never hurt me right ?

As these thoughts were racing through my head I turned around to look at him in the eye and ask him what i was dying to ask .

He removed his mask and was grinning wickedly.

The reveal confirmed what I had refused to believe , It was him .

Rose's P.O.V

But this is not where it starts let me take you to the very beginning where it all started.

Looking at my mom smiling so happily brought a smile to my face .

She was walking down the aisle and her face looked like it could not have shined any brighter . Her long train flowed behind her making her look like a goddess and the glitter in the dress enhanced her natural beauty even more . She was finally marrying the woman she loved Ruth.

I still remember the day when my mom told us the truth about why she wanted the divorce so badly .

Sure my dad was sad at the beginning but even he knew that the two women Ruth and Isabella ( my mom ) belonged together when he saw them .

I was going to move in with my dad to texas because my mom and Pam wanted to achieve their life long dream of moving to Paris .

It sucked that I couldn't go although if i did it would be super awkward for the newlyweds .(wink, wink )

Me being the daughter , I was the maid of honour, trust me it was not an easy job . It is not as easy as it is shown in the movies . It's tiring as hell. I also had to console my mom before her wedding cause she thought that Ruth was going to run away .

This one wedding made me pull my hair from frustration I can't even begin to imagine how Jane did it 27 times in the movie 27 dresses.

Enough of this , back to the wedding .

The vows were very sweet and brought tears to many of the guests eyes , yes even me included .

Ruth was the more tomboyish than mom who preferred dresses to shirts and heels to shoes . I don't even know how they r so happy together as they are so different ,well it must be the saying 'Opposites attract' .

Also just a before warning I'm very clumsy not to that degree that it would get me killed but enough to land me in the hospital .

Due to this I had to ditch the death traps i.e. the pumps that my mom had made me wear .

So there i was sitting in my converse when a cute guy asked me to dance .

I mean why would I even refuse as we were dancing my dad came up to us ans said " Mind if I borrow my daughter for a dance ?" The boy whose name was Alex said "Sure sir , she's all urs" . Talk about being formal .

Me and dad were not great dancers so we swayed weirdly to the soft tunes . To make small talk I said "What do u think of the wedding?"

He did detect the question that was hanging in the air , so he replied "I'm happy for her kiddo , she deserves this . At least she found someone who could make her happy unlike me ."
Rose-"Don't say stuff like that dad u know that she was happy that's why u had me ."

Dad-"I guess u r right but that was long ago , the times gone and not coming back."

After that we settled into a comfortable silence.
The party was drawing to an end and I was tired as hell . Even though my mom was tired her eyes shone.

Me and dad were the last ones to leave we said goodbye to mom and Ruth and went back to our hotel.

Before entering my room dad stopped me and said that " I hope u like it in Texas with me , I won't be nosey I promise."

And I replied "Don't worry dad we'll have a great time."

And exhausted I stumbled into my room and on my bed. Too tired to even remove my makeup which is definitely going to make me look like a raccoon in the morning."

And I drifted off in a sleep filled with dreams of ice cream , cakes, cotton candy .
