How amazing is it that I met Luke when our college decided to give a 2 month long holiday? I wondered as I thought of last night. It was one of the best nights I’ve had in a while.

Well I guess I should explain to you a bit about me other than what you know so far, which isn’t much. I am obviously Gabriella Ann Dawson which is pretty obvious by now and I’m 18 years old. My mom is… well she’s alright. It’s just that she’s almost never around. She would either be at a friend’s place or at work. I barely see her anymore. Dad’s always on one of his business trips and I haven’t spoken to him in a while now. Around 5 months back I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years who I thought was the one. Typical I know, but I really thought he was the one. But I don’t want to get into him right now. He’s my past, done and over with. I’ve moved on. The only thing that keeps me sane is music. I love playing the guitar and singing. It transports me to another world you could say. I met my best friends Miranda, Veronica and Ally at college and they’re absolutely the best people ever, always with me through my highs and lows. And okay that’s enough rambling and back to last night.

As I was saying last night was amazing. Dancing with Luke in that tiny restaurant called Bliss was one of the best experiences ever. I guess that’s why the place holds its name as Bliss because bliss is what I felt. He was so sweet and his smile could melt the coldest of hearts. Once we finished dancing to Backseat Serenade we walked to my place hand in hand swinging our intertwined hands back and forth like small kids. It was a quiet walk home with the occasional “It was fun.” and “We should do it more often.” When we reached my house I told Luke he could stay over if he wanted to but he said it was alright and he went to his house, where he apparently lived with his band mates, rather reluctantly. I wonder what he’s doing now. I thought to myself as I was staring at the ceiling while lying on my bed.

- Luke’s POV -

Last night with Gabriella was just one of the best nights I’ve had in a while. Damn I’m so happy right now I could burst. The way she smiles and the way she tucks her curls behind her ear and looks down when she blushes. Her big brown eyes were just so gorgeous and she didn’t even know. Woah! What’s happening to me? I thought as I mentally slapped myself. I honestly thought she would drop me like a hot potato once she found out I was the lead singer in a world famous band thinking I was just using her. Saying I freaked out once she found out is an understatement. But I sure am glad that she doesn’t act weird around me and just treats me like one of them normal guys. I so fucking appreciate that.

When she asked me to stay the night at her’s I badly wanted to but it felt as if I was intruding so I told her it was alright and left rather reluctantly since I knew when I reached home I wouldn’t hear the end of it. You see I live with my band mates Calum, Michael and Ashton, and answering their questions wasn’t something I needed at that moment. I was right about their questions anyway.

*Flashback of last night*

I reached home and locked the door behind me; it was dark so I was kind of hoping they were all asleep. I did not even get to turn around completely and I was pulled back and pressed to the wall and my face was getting squished.

“Ouch.” I said.

Someone flashed a flashlight in my face and said “Well well well. Would you look at who’s back home.”

“Where did you go Lukey pukey?” Said another voice trying to sound serious and raspy but failing miserably.

“Get him to the interrogation table!” exclaimed yet another voice and I was pulled into the kitchen and plopped down onto one of the chairs around the circular table. The lights were now switched back on and I was staring at the three excited and crazy looking faces of my band mates, Michael with his red hair and a smirk, Ashton with his bandana and cheeky grin and Calum with the flashlight in his hand and a wide smile on his face.
