Dwight, Dwight, Dwight; a wonder to mankind. Just how someone with his kind of personality is able to have friends, little less a girlfriend. I guess he meant good but just didn't know how to fittingly express it. He had every part of it coming to him, he just didn't expect it to happen so soon.

Poor Dwight, the man thought he was just getting some coffee made by some chick at a coffee shop but instead, he got a cup from the devil himself. Now that his voice is silenced forever, I kind of miss it already... or maybe not.

Driving down the highway the now dark highway with nothing but the cars lights bouncing off the trees, I see a figure on the side of the road. In the distance. I squint to make sight of it but my eyes are just not just aren't that powerful enough to see that far yet. Keeping my eye on the man as I drive towards him, getting closer and closer each second, I turn down the radio. Shutting up Gloria and her song 'I Will Survive' after listening to it ten-thousand times already.

Coming up to the man, I slow down, making a complete stop right next to him. He didn't wave me down or try and get my attention, it was just odd to me that he was out in this part late at night with no car or anyone else except for me. I rolled down my window and leaned over towards the passenger side.

"Hey bud, what brings you out here so late at night in these parts of the woods?" He stood still as his eyes went up and down the car, inspecting what seemed to be every part of it. Not one word came out of his mouth. He just stood there, in the dirt, with his tan colored leather jacket and blue jeans. Guessing by his sense in style he was from Seattle, Washington.

"Look, I don't want to scare you or hurt you, but you can't be out here with no car. There are wild things out between those trees that can end up killing you. I'm a cop and I can take you back to the station or wherever you need to go. I'm Jim by the way, what's your name?" He turned his head and looked me straight in the eyes. He seemed like an awkward fella and maybe that was what was stopping him from getting in the car. Or maybe it was the fact I had some red dots on my white button-up shirt.

Standing there, he did not say anything for what seemed to be a couple of minutes but then, eventually, he started to speak.

"I need to get to Butte. Can you take me there?" The dude looked down at the grown as he said it rapidly.

"Sure, ya! That would be no problem. I'm actually heading back there right now. Hop in." He opened the door and climbed in my 72' blue mustang. Putting on his seatbelt as he sat up with a straight back, hands in lap looking very uncomfortable.

"I'm Jim," as I extended my hand out towards him with my eyes glued to the road.

"Nice to meet you, Jim. I'm..." he took a hesitation on saying his name. Like he needed to think of his name which I find very odd for someone to forget their name.

"You alright..." trying to lead him to saying his name.

"Glo...ver, Glover Stan." I just stared at him, trying to process his strange behavior.

"Well, nice to meet you Glover. But what the hell brought you out this far into the woods, so god dam late at night with no phone and no car?"

He responded simply with a "I don't know." He kept staring out the front window, trying not to make any eye contact with me hat so ever. This Glover dude was really freaking me out now.

"So, what bring you to Butte? You obviously don't look like the type of dude from around these areas. What's up?" Now questioning the man as much as I can to unveil his true intensions for being out there so late.

"A friend." He responded with a straight face. Showing no emotion in his face and voice.

"And what will you and this friend be getting up to?"

"Oh, I guess just getting to catch up with each other. Maybe get some coffee."

Coffee? If I was visiting a friend I haven't seen in a while I would go out and get... oh shit! OH SHIT!

I look at. The fucker next to me who is no looking straight at me. A wide grin spread across his face.

"Surprise fucker!" he said.

At this point my eyes had been lifted from the road and onto him. Not seeing a thing in front of us. I suddenly feel the car hit a bump to which suddenly a bang rages out.
