Chapter 15: Charlie's Wedding (2)

    Charlie came closer to the podium where se kissed her fathers cheek. I extended my arm to grab her hand, which she forcefully did. I let go of her hand as she stands up omg the podium.

    The priest lowers his hands downs s everyone in the chapel will sit down. As they all sit down, the ceremony began:

    "We are gathered here to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly declare their private devotion to each other." The priest said, looking at everyone in the chapel, using his hands.

    "Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand together, through sorrows and joys, hardship and triumphs for all the days of your lives?" The priest asked us. I looked over at Charlie and saw her nod.

    "We do" I said with a smirk on my face. I look over at Charlie and I could tell she wasn't happy where she stands. I sighed and looked back at the priest.

     "May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of this moment, but also of the vows you made and the strength of your commitment to each other." The priest gestured the maiden, whit was getting up from her seat, and held the pillow with the rings.

    "Edgerlord, please repeat after me...I Edgerlord, promise to love and support you Charlie and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I thee wed." The priest tells me to say.

    I repeat exactly what the priest said as I place the ring on Charlie's finger. She sighs and forcefully makes an effort to smile at me. I kissed her hand and she gasped from the sudden action I made. As I came back up I winked at her, making her think.

    "Charlie, please repeat after me... I Charlie, promise to love and support Edgerlord?..and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I thee wed." The priest said, where Charlie repeated the same statement and placed the ring on my finger. She closed her eyes and breathed out a sigh.

    "Go now in peace and live in live, sharing the most precious gift you have- the giddy of your lives untrusted. And may your days be long in hell—"

    "Before you pronounce us husband and wife, I would like to say a few words to my skin to be wife. May I?" I asked the priest who gladly accepted. I looked into Charlie's eyes and grab her hands. She looked at me with an unpleasant smile, but for the sake of the wedding she forced a smile in her face.

    "Ever since I met you, you have completely changed my life. The dates we had, the arguments we had, that night we had..meant a lot to me. Charlie, I love you dearly and I wanted to tell you his before we got married. My darling, I have made the decision to be with you in sickness and in health. Give me the opportunity to let me take care of you. Will you except me? As your husband and as your best friend?" I say to Charlie which made her realize what was happening. She smiled and got closer to my ear.

    "Alastor?" She whispered at me. She backed away and I nodded. She gasped and started to tear up.

    "You may now proceed priest, I'm finished" I turn and look a the priest. She smiled and continued. I held Charlie's hands and looked behind her to see Vaggie confused and Dust with two thumbs up.

    "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest said to us. We looked at each other and I placed my hand on her cheek. She placed her head into of my mine, and I pull her into a kiss. I held my back with my available hand and she moved her hands around my neck.
