Allison's Tale

Chapter 5

Theo yawned. That spoiled little-

A loud yowl echoed from outside. Allison? Tori must've heard it too! Theo thought in alarm.

"It sounded like Allison!" Tori howled. Theo nodded and he quickly stood and walked out of the room. Sarah was asleep on the couch and Oreo was sleeping in her bed. Theo and Tori snuck outside.

Theo's ears flattened back and he stared at the ground in horror. Theo looked out at the snow. Only one set of pawsteps was seen walking away in the thick snow... none coming back. Oh no... oh no, no, no.... Tori let out a stifled cry.

"She was so young." Tori whimpered, whiping a tear from her eye.

"Um? I'm right here," a voice said. Allison stood, looking perfectly normal.

"I'm so confused." Tori said, looking around sarcastically as if it was only her.

"So am I." Theo laughed.

"I screamed because I knew you'd come running! I knew you would, Theo, I knew it!" Allison exclaimed. Theo felt himself blushing. "I only came in because-"

"Theo likes Allison! Theo likes Allison!" Tori chanted, skipping around on the concrete.

"Pathetic fools," a deep voice boomed.

"Haha, very funny, Theo!" Allison hissed.

"No, seriously! That wasn't me!" Theo whined. Allison and Tori kept laughing.

"Maybe you should listen, fools. He was a wolf, you know." The voice snarled. Suddenly, a humongous, black wolf stepped out of the shadows. He was taller than Theo standing on his hind legs.

"W-Who are you?" Theo half snarled, half whimpered. "

"Funny you asked, my fellow wolf. I am Koko, alpha of The Nightseekers." The wolf remarked proudly. I thought alphas were young! He looked like he's one hundred years old! Theo thought in shock.

"Well, you're huge." Tori mumbled. Koko snarled and grabbed her. Theo was alarmed by the sudden movement of the large wolf.

"Hey!" Theo growled, "Put her down!"

Koko laughed. "Seeing you stand up for this weak monkey is hilarious. And you, little cat. I've been watching you for some time," Koko snarled with clenched teeth.

"Creep!" Allison stuck out her tongue in a childish way. Koko reached for Allison but Theo leaped forward and bit his paw. Koko let out a howl of pain and rage.

"How dare you bite the alpha of the most well-known pack!" Koko barked.

"If it were well known I would've known about it!" Theo retorted rudely.

Koko roared in fury; "You little-"

Sarah let out a squeak of surprise as she opened the door. Sarah suddenly screamed and ran back inside, latching the door shut.

"What. Was. That." Koko hissed.

This also stopped here... I don't know why. And also, after this chapter... the book stopped.
