Moving In

Dipper Pines was unpacking in the Mystery Shack where he had spent the summer in and now will be living in with his twin sister Mabel Pines. Mabel had been asked out by Pacifica and said yes so she was excited about their date that night. Dipper groaned and looked at his sister.

"Mabel, will you help me unpack?" Dipper asked in frustration.

"Ugh, fiine." Mabel huffed and started unpacking. She got a text from Pacifica asking if she wanted to hang out before their date. The brunette girl jumped excitedly and hurried off to meet with Pacifica.

Dipper rolled his eyes and continued unpacking and setting everything up. Their Grunkles had gone out of town for a few days and were expected to come back later that afternoon so Dipper and Mabel had decided to move in while they were gone and surprise them. Though, Dipper would be the only one there to surprise them so it wasn't really the twins decision any more.

After unpacking, Dipper decided to take a walk through the forest by the Mystery Shack that he had always walked through when he was younger. He soon came upon Bill's statue.

"Hello there Cipher. It's been a while. Looking back on it, I kind of feel like you didn't really try to take over. It was too easy to take you down. After of course our other attempts failed. I've actually got a few questions I'd like to ask you but you're a statue." Dipper said.

"How did you become a dream demon? Were you born one? Were you human before? What was it like as a human? My most important question though is, if you could try to take over the world again, what would you do differently?" Dipper asked. He slipped his hand into Bill's. He shook his head and let go pulling his hand away. He sighed.

"Bro bro! Where are you!?!" Mabel called from the shack. Dipper hurried off in the direction of the shack.

Bill's stone fingers twitched slightly.

"Hey bro bro, where were you?" Mabel asked, her arm linked with Pacifica's.

"Sorry. I was walking around the woods we used to walk through." Dipper smiled.

"They were creepy to me. But anyways, you and I had originally agreed to move in and surprise our Grunkles right?" Mabel asked. Dipper knew what she was going to say but nodded.

"That was the plan yes." Dipper said.

"Well Pacifica and I wanted to go to lunch and hang out meaning-" Mabel began saying.

"Meaning you can't be here to surprise our Grunkles. Go have fun with Pacifica. I'll let them know you're here too." Dipper finished. Mabel hugged and thanked him than ran off with Pacifica. Dipper rolled his eyes with a smile and went upstairs to his room. He read a normal book for a few minutes then he closed the book and pulled out a notebook that was the same blue as the tree on his hat.

He started writing in it and didn't hear the door open downstairs when his great uncles came in. He didn't know that Mabel had left a note on the fridge for her great uncles saying that the twins had moved in and she was off with Pacifica and if they didn't see Dipper when they first walked in then he'd be upstairs doing something. Ford read the note and smiled.

"Look Stanley, a note from Mabel. They moved in with us." Ford said.

"Great. Where are they?" Stan asked getting himself some coffee.

"Mabel's out with Pacifica and Dipper should be in his room." Fors said.

Stan and Ford went to the stairs and Stan yelled up them for Dipper. Dipper quickly closed the journal he had been writing in and hid it under his pillow.

"I'm here." Dipper said going downstairs to see his Grunkles. They chatted for a while and joked around and all that then Dipper said he was going to bed. Later that night Ford thought he heard something fall on Dippers bedroom floor. He got out of bed and went upstairs to his room opening the door and looking at the floor beside his bed.

He saw a blue journal the same blue as the Pinetree on Dippers hat. He wanted to open it and read it but he didn't want to upset his nephew so he left it alone. He put the journal in the drawer of Dippers nightstand and went back to bed.
