Nigel could not have been more happy. He was in bed, beside his newly wedded husband, Tim Stantheferd. It was the night after their wedding, and after hours of passionate love making, as a rat and aardvark do, the two gentlemen cuddled each other in Nigels bed. Tomorrow they were taking a flight to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

"I love you, Tim Stantheferd," cooed Nigel.

"Dito" said the Aardvark.

"I absolutely can not wait to go the Bahamas," Nigel continued. "I had my class research the Bahamas for Geography, and they found quite a few clubs we might be interested. Binky found a gay cowboy bar, complete with whips and-"

"Babe," Tim Stantheferd interrupted. "There's something I need to tell you."

Nigel eyes glazed in worry, "What is it?"

Tim Stantheferd looked away from his husband. Slowly he began to speak, "We can not go the Bahamas. My parents require to see me. I have to make this trip."

"Your parents! You told me they were dead! You told me you were an orphan, they had died when you were young child. You told me they left you a billion dollar fortune and you were raised by your butler and -"

"Babe!" Tim Stantheferd hushed his lover. "It was all a lie. In actuality, my family are backward, catholic hicks from Birmingham, Alabama. If they found out I was gay, they would never speak to me again, or help me pay off my thousands of dollars in illegal student debt loans. I've managed to hide my personal life very well from them, but they somehow caught wind that I got married. They want to see me and my... "wife" immediately. They even have their own family ceremony made."

I can't believe this!" Nigel Ratburn roared. "How could you hide this from me! I am your husband."

Tim Stantheferd bowed his head in shame. He got up and stared emo-like at the window. The moon light illuminated his tears. "I'm sorry babe, you weren't supposed to find out like this."

Nigel sputtered, "Y-you never told me you took out student loans. What college did you go to?"

Tim Stantheferd looked at the moonlight, "I was homeschooled."

"No," gasped Nigel.

Tim Stantheferd reached for the pocket of his velvet bathrobe. He grabbed a knife. "I can't do this babe. I'm tired of living a lie. I can't keep lying to my family. I can't... Keep living the way I am. I'm sorry, I-"

"Tim Stantheferd! Stop! Don't do anything you may regret!"

"I won't regret this, babe." Tim Stantheferd raised the knife to his face. "Desperate times, desperate measures. I'm going to cut my hair. I'm going to cut my hair, get a tattoo, maybe get a nose job and change my name to Sim Ttantheferd. That way my family will never find me, I'll be free, under new identity. No longer will they put me under the pressure of their judeo christian values and I will be able to live my life I as intend."

"No need not do that." Nigel raised himself from the bed. His naked, sculpted body glowed the moonlight. He turned to his husband. "We will go to your family. We will see them. I have a plan. That just may be crazy enough to work."
