Haeyeon picks up the test tube as she waits for Jisung to arrive. Chemistry was right after lunch, and the teacher asked them to finish their activity.
"He's late," Eric whispers from behind.
She shrugs, "I'll just start where we stopped yesterday,"
Donghyuck furrows his eyebrows, "You sure you don't need some help?"
"I'm fine," She answers, carrying the test tube.
Eric and Donghyuck watches as Haeyeon does the activity on their own. She was careful not to spill anything as it might affect the mixture.
Haeyeon hums, pouring one of the liquids in the beaker when Eric noticed what she poured in.
"Haeyeon, watch out!"
Before he could drag her away, there was a loud explosion and smoke covered the whole room.
Donghyuck coughed, pulling Eric outside. "Where's Haeyeon?"
"I thought you pulled her out!"
"No! I pulled the nearest person and I ended up dragging Rachel,"
Eric furrows his eyebrows, "That girl who has a crush on you?"
"Yeah," Donghyuck mutters looking at Rachel who was smiling at him. "Anyways, that means she's still in there!"

Haeyeon coughs out the smoke surrounding her. "Shit, I must've mixed the wrong one."
"You think?"
Haeyeon widens her eyes as she just noticed her position. Someone was hovering above her so this person must've protected her from the explosion.
"What are you doing here?" Haeyeon asks, looking up at him.
"Uh, its Chemistry and I should be in class?"
She pushed her off him, "No, I meant why did you come? You were already running late."
Jisung stands up wiping his pants, "I was only running late. Not absent."
Haeyeon was about to speak when she continuously coughs. "We need get out of here,"
Jisung nods, "Yeah, good idea."

"Hey, I didn't do it!" Jisung defends himself. "Neither did Haeyeon. It was an accident."
Teacher Choi massages his forehead, "Well, someone has to take responsibility for this."
"You should be the one to take responsibility, you weren't there."
"Han Jisung, you are indeed an annoying little kid."
"I'm just saying, if you were there it wouldn't have happened -"
Teacher Choi tried to calm himself down and before he could say anything, Haeyeon was quick to volunteer, "I'll do it -"
"Hold on," He blocks Haeyeon's hand, "What are you doing? You shouldn't give up like that."
"What are you talking about? I was the one who put the liquid on the beaker, whether it was an accident or not. I'll take responsibility."
Jisung hung his mouth open, "You've got to be kidding me."
The teacher nods in front of them, "Thank you, Shin Haeyeon for accepting your mistake. Unlike someone who doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut."
Jisung scoffed, "Must be you then."
"Han Jisung, detention!" Teacher Choi announced. "Since you can't keep your mouth shut, you're helping Haeyeon with whatever work I assign her to."
