Haeyeon stretched out her hands, trying to finish the project that was due on Monday. She was about to grab a marker when her phone rang, "Hello?"
"It's me. Where are you?"
It was already 9pm and Haeyeon wasn't expecting a call late at night, especially from him.
"What's up?" She asked, sitting beside him on the bench. They decided to meet at the park near Haeyeon's house.
"You didn't tell me Seji loves to shop,"
"Uh, she practically grew up shopping and her brother loves spoiling her with clothes and shoes."
Jisung slumps back on the chair, looking up at the moon, "I don't think we click."
"Just give her a chance," Haeyeon explains, "She's just not used to hanging out with a boy, let alone someone who likes her,"
"Hmm, you're right. I'll try again then!" Haeyeon smiled lightly and Jisung noticed this, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just tired." She lied. She can't tell him the truth, its too risky.
"You sure? You seem a bit down,"
Haeyeon nods, "Yeah," She stood up, "Listen, I need to go home, I still have a project to work on -"
"Wait -!" Jisung didn't notice but he suddenly stood up, holding her hand, "I - uhm -"
Haeyeon felt the warmth of his touch and tried ignoring her beating heart again, "Ji-jisung..."
He slowly lets go, realizing what he did, "I - I'm sorry. I just..."
"You just what?" Haeyeon looks confused.
Jisung faces her again, noticing how pretty she looks under the light of the moon, "Nothing. I'll see you in school."

The following day, Jisung goes to school half-awake. He was walking like a zombie in the hallway when Hyunjin spotted him.
"What happened to you?" He asked.
"I haven't slept a wink,"
"What did you even do?"
Jisung sighed, leaning on the wall, "Just had a lot of things on my mind,"
"Like Shin Haeyeon?"
"What?!"
"No, I meant, Haeyeon is walking towards us,"
Jisung followed his gaze and saw Haeyeon walking in school with Seji.
"And she's with Seji," Hyunjin smirks, "What a coincidence."
Jisung rolls his eyes as both girls bid goodbye to each other and headed to their respective rooms.
Hyunjin looks back at Jisung, "So, you like them both?"
Jisung groans and left him in the hallway, "Goodbye, Hwang Hyunjin!"
