Damien POV
I went out for several things that were broken. Now when I go out for certain things, I get them but I also brought other things I probably didn't need. So when I when out for Sea Salt, Colored Spirit Candles, A few Crystals and Different types of Stones, Herbs and Flowers.
I saw an elf like elder woman who had a stand out. I hovered over towards her stand and noticed her skin had a green tint to it, maybe a goblin? "Ah, Yes, Welcome! Welcome!" The small woman looked to be about 3 ft tall. She 'fixed' her items on her table. I saw several full and empty potion bottles as well as Anointing Oils and Essential Oils, Two Grimoires, multi colored feathers, chipped sea shells, opened acorns, sticks, human and animal bones, buckeyes, pine needles, dried berries, horse chestnut, pine cones, dried leaves, cat whiskers and Athame.
"You see anything you like deary?" Yes everything, I thought. I wanted all of these Items but could I afford to get them all. "How much for the Grimore's, cat whiskers and human bones?" She smiled "3 bronze coins" Bronze? This isn't worth any bronze coins "Bronze? Are you sure?" She nodded and placed them into bags "Oh of course Hun" This doesn't seem right but hey I'm going to need these for later "How much for everything on your table?" She looked confused but eager "Well that would be... 12 Silver coins" I open my pouch and took out 12 Gold coins and handed them to her "Its Silver, Gold is too much" She began to pack her things "I'm being Generous"
After putting in a sack the small woman gave me it along with a stack of notes "It's for the potions, please use the death, life, and love potions correctly. They tend to be long lasting" I agreed "Yes, I know" I helped her close down.
On my way home I wanted to go stop by Selena's house. I went up to her rocky home and knocked on her wooden door then waited. Though instead of seeing my loveable, gorgeous, sister, Selena I see a man who was nearly the same height as her but he had short brown curly hair with yellow eyes and tanned skin. Oh but we can forget about his a white ears and tail. "Who are you?" "Mmhh, I'm King Ouzl. Husband of Selena. And who are you?" I stared at this disgrace of a man. Though I thought I could keep myself calm until... he was being held down by my mist. "Where is Selena?!" He was to say something when I heard "OUZL!! WHERE ARE YOU-' I saw my sister on a 9 ft wolf "oh. HI DAMIEN!!" I snapped out of it and let him go "Selena, who the absolute hell is this?" She jump off and running to the (boy) "he is my mate or in other words my husband!" She smiled and help him get up "thank you" he say.
My heart is in pain. I thought, no wait. "Oh" I looked at this disgusting man she fell for and it stung me but I guess this is what she wants. "Oh, how's this been going on and who allowed this?" "Mhhhh I think it's been 600 years and Rya allowed this" Ouzl say. Of all people Rya had to allow this?! "Rya? 600 years?! Why was I not told? I'm technically your brother!" Ouzl jumped a little "HE'S YOUR BROTHER??" Selena laugh "yes, don't you see the resemblance?" He looks at both of us and shake his head "Well we did die and came back as different people" "oh I forgot you two were life before this" the big wolf came and lay next to Ouzl. "Yeah, but why is he here can you explain who in the right mind would marry him" Selena walk to me and say "he saved my life Damien, the only one who stand out for me, and the only one who cared and loved me" she looked it me with a blank stare "He life there because he is my mate and husband" I looked down but its not like she could tell due to my mask. "Understandable"
Selena POV
I watched Damien as I walked towards Ouzl and Zil. I reached over and scratched behind Zil's ear while cooing "Who is my baby girl, who?" Zil wagged her tail but I looked over toward Damien then at Ouzl "Selena and Ouzl I would like to deeply apologise for my words and actions I can tell I had upset the both of you and I wish to put this behind us" Damien carefully apologized "Hey, Damien it's alright but I feel Selena would want a bit of time so it might take a while before she's past this" Ozul's slightly not wrong but "Anyway, let's eat" I excitedly chanted wanting to change the subject. We all walked into the dining room with the maids "What would you like to eat?" I sat down in my chair and listened to the rest of them. Damien asked my maids to bring him "Angelic souls or human children. Either or would be nice" My maids nodded and Ouzl asked "I want moose meat" That sounds good right now "I would like the Same" I asked to which they agreed and left.
"So, Damien, what do you do for a living?" Ouzl questioned. Damien took a while to answer until "I Practice Magic and Potions as well as spells, and you?" Damien slowly looked at Ozul "I am, or was, the best craftsman from my town" It was nice that they were trying to get along "Oh, for how long and why did you stop" Damien coughed a bit to hard "For most of my life though I stop when I became King. I had other duties to take care off" Oulz looked at him then grabbed my hand which made me smile.
Then I look at him "Damien, why didn't you ever get married? Or do you have someone in mind?" He quietly laughed "I did but I was to late, I never told her how I felt though I wish her well though she's obviously having the best life she could possibly with the man SHE loves. Though who knows when I will. I won't age" I gave him an upset glance "Don't worry maybe she wasn't the one for you or she may come back then you can tell her how you feel. Say who is she?" He turned and cleared his throat "We'll that smart, funny, amazing woman is named Se-" Just then My maids walked in with the food we asked for. After they placed our plates in front of us and left we began to eat, sadly everyone was silent.
After awhile we finish eating and the table was cleaned. I soon showed Damien his room. "Oh Damien, we would be leaving in a few days. Okay?" He opened his door "Why? Where are you going?" He sounded tired "To Rya's place" I smiled "For?" He quickly questioned "To get more information about what is going on" He nodded "Alright" After chatting for a bit I walked into my room. Once there I saw Ouzl working; I slowly crept over there and scared him.
He scream like a little girl which was hilarious. He spun around "Selena! You should really stop that" He always gets scared but its so adorable "Awe, why?" I frowned with puppy dog eyes. He sighed and softly smiled and we met eye to eye "Hey do you think your brother hates me?" I thought for a little bit but not to long before I giggled to reasher him "No, he doesn't. He just strongly dislike you" His smile quickly left and he just gave me a blank face "What did you expect? You are married to his sister after all. You should spend time together" He smiled and shook his head "Come on, let's go to bed" I jumped on the bed with my arms up and I heard Ouzl softly laugh. It was a slow and long process of me trying to sleep but Zil came and laid on us. I hug her tail as we went finally fell asleep
