3rd Person's POV

"Welcome!" The headmistress of the infamous Sanguinem Luna greeted the hooded stranger with a warm smile under her goat skull mask. Looking around, the hooded figure lurched forward and whispered to the headmistress seemingly afraid that someone might hear what they were about to say even though the room was devoid of life as a desolate desert. "I would like to have a discussion with you, Headmistress," This statement sparked the headmistress' curiosity. She tapped her long red nails on her desk, thinking.

"Take a seat," The headmistress guestured to her guest who obeyed and sat. Apon sitting, the hooded figure looked at their surroundings and examined the place. There were a lot of bookshelves containing things that most humans find as odd. The room contained statues, ancient relics, suits of odd armor, macabre paintings, historical tapestries, potions on racks, tomes, grimoires, shelves full of latin books for magick, and even a fossil of a dragon hung, hovering above the room as decoration.

The hooded figure thought to themself. This looks more like a crazy researcher's laboratory than a headmistress' office. They turned their head once more to find the stone walls covered in ancient texts and writing- most of them written using the runes as an alphabet. Not to mention that this is the highest tower inside the campus. The hooded figured thought. They looked at the enormous glass-stained window. It's also located in the middle of the campus...

"You seem to be sightseeing," The headmistress tilted her head to the side which revealed her grinning lips underneath the goat skull mask she was wearing, covered with a red piece of cloth. "This castle was once used to train Furvus during the era of war against the Niveus centuries ago before the deal was struck. Most of it got reconstructed as it aged," The headmistress murmured almost to herself.

"But the labyrinths, catacombs, and other areas still remained in the perimeter. Most of them build over by the new buildings we recently added." The headmistress turned to the hooded figure, lime eyes merely visible under the dull light from the red wax candle sitting atop on her desk. Her goat-like eyes glistened with curiosity. The hooded figure then turned to the headmistress. "I know, I've... Experienced its history through my very eyes," The hooded figure answered wich Intrigued the headmistress.

I've never seen you before... I'm one of the Olde ones that have experienced Sanguinem Luna Regia's history and evolution. You do not seem familiar in my eyes. The hheadmistress kept the thought to herself. She ran her hand through her golden-colored hair that resembled the wool of a sheep. She wondered what the hooded figure wanted to talk about earlier. "Oh, Looks like I was lost in my thoughts for a moment," The headmistress stood up.

"Stay here for a while, I need to get something." The headmistress then entered another room and disappeared from the hooded figure's sight. The hooded figure sighed then smiled. "Looks like the headmistress is slowly forgetting things," They looked around once more. This place seems to be a lot bigger than centuries ago... The hooded figure turned towards the headmistress' desk. On top of it were quill pens, ink, parchments, books, and a particular golden plate that laid at the desk which read;

Headmistress
Reficul

That title... It's- "Here," The headmistress handed a piece of paper to the hooded figure. "I'm sorry if I took too long. You have to make appointments but since I'm not that busy as of late, I decided to let you in," The headmistress handed the papers to the figure. "You'll have to sign this appointment slip since my assistant insists on knowing who interacts with me." She rolled her eyes as if to say she didn't like that idea at all.

The hooded figure hesitated as they grabbed one of the quill pens, stabbed their hand with it, and signed the paper with their own blood. The headmistress twitched from her chair. Using your own blood to sign your signiture into the paper while bearing hatred means- The figure grinned at the headmistress who quickly snatched the paper away from them. You are planning something harmful and it's an advance message.

Looking at the paper while gripping it hard, the headmistress looked up, expecting to see the hooded figure. But they were nowhere to be seen. She quickly got up and ran into the hallway of her tower, searching for the black hood that entered but there were no signs of intrusion at all. She ran towards the spiral flight of stairs but found no trace or even evidence that the hooded figure even walked pass. Then she realized the arched window that was left open.

The headmistress peaked through just in time to see an odd bat in the middle of a storm, gliding through the air away from the tower. She looked down and noticed the gargoyles standing there on their ledges, spitting out rain water from their mouths. "What are you all doing?!" The gargoyles turned to her in shock. "After him! Now!" She demanded as the gargoyles stretched, and with the sound of thunder, flew after the runaway bat.

He predicted that it would happen but he didn't predict how. He didn't predict it this way... If i don't stop it, it's going to end differently from how it should end.

The headmistress then rushed to her bedroom and called out for her familiar who flew right into her forearm. "You need to tell them!" The horned owl familiar nodded in understanding as to what its master meant and flew out of the window and into the thunderous bellows of the storm. She called for security to search for the hooded figure not just on air but on land as well.

Moments later, the head of the guards came to her and bowed respectfully. "We searched for the bat you speak of on both on both land and air," The head of the guards- a half man, half stallion, came forward and removed his cap. "None of our gargoyles seem to have successfully hunted the bat you speak of," The hybrid continued and still kept his head low. "I see..." The headmistress turned towards him.

"I expect you to tighten our security, Chief." She warned as the hybrid saluted in agreement and left the headmistress all alone in her room. The headmistress pulled out the crumpled piece of paper from the pockets of her robes.

"I will return."

Was written on a piece of paper along with the signature of the hooded figure along with a symbol that is far too familiar for the headmistress not to forget.

I cannot let you...

The headmistress crumpled the piece of paper and threw it into the fireplace. It silently burned on the firewood as she watched its smoke take the form of a figure who resembled a man. The smoke grinned at her then disappeared up through the chimney, into the sky that formed gloomy clouds, and carried away by the strong gusts of storm wind. The headmistress gritted her teeth in annoyance.
