The meeting was soon over, leaving Tails to do as he pleases.

Ash approached me and put a gloved hand on my shoulder. "C'mon Tails, you look tired. I can show you to your room." Ash gave me a smile. I looked up and nodded. "That would be nice."

Ash led me to a light tan colored room with a simple yellow bed and a light brown nightstand right beside it.  A flat-screen television rested on the wall opposite of the bed. "Thanks," I smiled at Ash and she ruffled my bangs. "Don't stay up too late." She gave me finger guns and walked away.

I plopped myself on the bed as soon as she left. I took my earbuds and yellow phone out of my gloves. Wondering how I have my phone in a ghost world? Well, usually the last things we Mobians die with, we get to keep as a ghost! I was lucky, since the only things I had were my phone, earbuds, my portable charger, and..... a scarf Sonic gave to me on my fifth birthday. I gripped the blue scarf tightly, not wanting to let go of my last memory of my brother. I should listen to some music to calm me down. I tapped my thumb on my phone screen, unlocking it.  I immediately went to my music and played a song that relates to the situation I'm in now.

I sat back and just let the lyrics sink in.

I felt tears go down my cheeks as I listened, and I somehow didn't feel like wiping them away.

My face was damp with tears and my eyes were a bloodshot red from crying. I heard someone come into the room, but I didn't bother to look up to see who.

"Tails? Ye' alright?  Ye seem ta be cryin'." It was Ace.
I didn't respond, and Ace walked over to the bed and made a chair appear so he could sit alongside the bed. "What's the matter? He said, rubbing my back with his scarf, trying to comfort me in a way.

I shrugged, still not looking at Ace. "I-I just miss my brother." Ace was silent for a minute and suddenly gave me a hug, which I was surprised from. "It'll be ok. Look, I'm not supposed to tell ye this but-" He looked behind him to check if anyone was there. "-there's a way ye can visit yer brother and I know how to do it."
"Really?" I asked a little bit loudly, and Ace nodded.
"Do ye' have any items that connects him ta ye'?" He asked, and I pulled out my blue scarf.
"Only this, a scarf he gave me for my fifth birthday." I said, holding out the delicate piece of fabric.
"That should be alright, lad." He said, putting me on his back. "Where are we going?" I asked him as he stood up straight.
"The Temple of Restless Souls." He said, before we were enveloped into a dark green light, and we both vanished.
