Chapter 2

NEWTS POV:

"Oh look we got another runner!" One of the gladers joked to other gladers, "Hell no! She more of a klunk or what do you call it..." One other one said waiting for someone else to finish his sentence, "deadweight, excess baggage, you know nothing" "ENOUGH SHE IS NOT NOTHING, SHE IS GOING TO BE VERY IMPORTANT TO US!" Alby yelled and then whispered something in my ear.

"Get the cage ready, we need to calm her down" "why, maybe we can just talk to her?" I asked quietly "no! I told you to prep the cage, so go prep the cage". I grabbed Minho and took him to the cage, "what are we doing here?" He asked whilst leaning against the bars.

SAMS POV:

I woke up dripping wet again, but this time I think it was my sweat, "hey, is anybody there? Why am I in here? LET ME OUT!!" I kept on screaming through one of the bars, "Hey hey calm down, My name is Thomas I'm new here to, trust me your gonna be safe" he said calmly. "Now I'm gonna let you out now, just please remain calm" and he unlocked the cage.

After a few minutes he jumped in down to my level, "hey, it's ok, your ok!" He said groping my shoulders tight. "M-M-My name is Samantha-rose" I slowly turned around to face him, "well Samantha-Rose I am Thomas and I promise you your going to be safe" he said looking at me awkwardly. 'Who is he? Why does he look so familiar? Where have I seen him before' these thought kept pounding through my head then I remembered I had a brother.

'He can't be my brother, I would know if I had a brother called Thomas. Anyway if he was he would remember ME!' "Hey Sam, do you mind If I call you that?" Newt came over during dinner, "uh, no not at all!" I patted a seat next to me for him to take. "Ya sure!" He asked gesturing to the spot next to me, "well I did just ask you to sit there".

For a while we just sat there talking, laughing and smiling, I was gals to be here, I was glad he was here. "Hey newt, the boys are gonna tell us some maze stories wanna join in?" One of the guys asked, "yeah, I'll be there in a sec, save us a seat!" He looked at the boy sharply after he said US.
