Chapter 1

As darkness hit the night and the sun had hid behind the clouds, it is then we knew it was time to go sleep.

"Shaun, Omarion, Unity, Lydia, you know what time it is"

"But Mom we don't have school tomorrow.",Lydia said.

She was always debating about everything.

"Please mom", Unity added.

Me and Omarion sat there and focused on the game, I hardly said a thing.

"Okay, you can stay up until 21:00 and after that lights out."

"Okay mom", Lydia and Unity said.

They always ganged up on mom, and me and Omarion knew everytime so we always kept quite, we knew they will always win.

"Good night S.O.U.L"

She called us S.O.U.L, which serves as an abbreviation for Shaun,Omarion,Unity, Lydia.

I am the older one, then comes Unity she's 11 going 12, then Omarion he's 10 and the last one Lydia she's 5

It's an equal equation, 2 boys and 2 girls.

"It's 21:07 now, let's get up and get to sleep, we don't want to upset mom ",I said.

"Arrggh, you and playing the Mom role", Lydia said.

"Let's go, get up"

We head to bed I tuck Lydia and Omarion in and went straight to my room and I write poems

OohhI forget to tell you I'm a poet but I don't want people to know about my ability of writing poems.

After writting a few lines I go to sleep and rest.

As morning hit I would go to the kitchen to look for warm water to wash our faces.

I found mom in the kitchen doing the dishes as always

"Morning Mom."

"Morning Shauny"

"Haven't you seem Shelly, she's been gone since yesterday."

"Shelly?", I act surprised but I know where she is.

Shelly is mom's little sister, my aunt, but people think she's my sister so I take it how it is and call her my sister.

"Yes shelly? "

I glanced down

She dries her hands with her lap.

"I'm waiting Shaun."

I did not like lying to mom but I didn't have a choice.

"I forgot to tell you but she sent a text message that she's going to sleep at a friend's house."

"Which friend?"
