After that ignorant statement Lathan made I was very lonely. That year I was bullied everyday. When first grade came around I wasn't bullied but no one wanted to be my friend either. It was one day when I got up really late and I was about to miss the school bus. That my mom smacked me across the face it left a huge hand mark on my face. I put on a hoodie to pull over my head so no one would see but, the teacher had to be a bitch. And made me take it off . When I did no one said anything they just looked . I could start to hear whispering. Is everything ok at home Jennifer the teacher asked . Yes , my little brother accidentally slapped me i lied. Well let's get focused back onto this the teacher said .

When we headed out I ran to my spot under the tree.Where I would read novels that my mother would never buy for me because they're we're to expensive, but luckily the library had them. When I reached with my book in my hand Lathan and Hayden where there. I told them that this was my spot and I was not going to leave. I honestly didn't need the noise. They just started to laugh and make fun of me. Hayden then said that it was time to show me not to mess with them. Lathan then got behind me and started to choke me . Hayden then started to kick me and punch me. When I screamed for help Lathan choke me harder. Eventually Lathan let go and threw me to the ground . Then both started to kick me . That's all I remember before I blacked out. I woke up in a hospital bed . Unable to move without feeling pain. My mom saw me and started to call nurse's . After the nurses check me and everything. She told me everything that happened how the boys got suspended and how i almost died because I wasn't able to breathe on my own. I had been in a coma for a year and a half . All because of them boys . When I was able to get out the hospital I was so glad it was summer but the only thing was that I only had a week left so I decided to skip a month of school. My mom while I was in a coma got a boyfriend which was only a summer fling , she got a new job and it was better paying and in a better environment. She even started going to church. But that all ended with her summer fling she lost her job went back to the same old one, started coming home late drunk , beating me if I did something she ain't like. Life was so hard for me. At least when I go back to school i hope the boys will have learned there lesson.
