Maya is a the middle daughter of a family of 6. She along with her siblings are adopted, however their parents love them no matter what. But what happens when your family has some lows and not so many highs? Now a crush that she only sees at school and hallways? Will she need to forget about him or find someone else? And don't get me started on the "friends" that she cares but do they? What about trying to fit in and change herself to fit the beauty standers? How far will she go? Will her family help her out when she is at her lowest? Most importantly will she fall out of true-self to be someone who she is not? Most importantly she is only a normal and ordinary girl just like every girl at school, how will she cope with the anxiety from school to try and be a somebody? This a realistic journey for all the 'nobody' and 'ugly Christian ' girls who think they are nothing but in the eyes of some people they are jewels that are rare to find....
