The Gathering

Owlpaws POV

This morning Willowstar told the clan who would go to the gathering here were the cats including me : Willowstar Nightpaw Copperfire Rosepaw Creamfang and a few others I didnt know.

"It's not fair that you get to go and we don't!" Springpaw complained.

"Yes it is because you two got in trouble." Rosepaw replies.

" What are you thinking about Owlpaw?" Ashpaw asks me.

" Nothing just some moves I learned durring training." I lie to them. They'd think I was crazy if I told them about what I heard but to be honest I'm starting to wonder if Nightpaw is the tiger I was warned about!

" Your lying you always try to lie to us tell us what's really going on!" Rosepaw says. Gosh she can be annoying at times but she's my sister so I guess I have to deal with it.

" Look I was just thinking about combat skills ok?" I say looking at them using my eyes to tell them not to ask again.

" Fine be that way!" Rosepaw says.

That night

Our groups walked through the grasslands on the border of our territory. We were walking to the island where gatherings are held. We crossed the tree bridge and entered the clearing. I was amazed at the amount of cats here. A light gray she cat and a light gray tom with brown spots came towards me. They both smelled of Thunderclan.

"Oh look what the twolegs dragged in. The kittypet from Windclan." Said the shecat.

"I'm not a kittypet anymore. I'm an aprentice like you. By the way who are you?" I ask.

"I'm shrewpaw and this is moonpaw but once a kittypet always a kittypet, with the exception of firestar." said the tom.

"Me too. I'm not a kittypet anymore!" I say defensively. Who do these cats think they are?

" Yeah right in another moon you'll be going back to your twolegs. Our clan wouldn't have even let you in." Said the shecat named moonpaw.

I started to get mad but before anything could happen rosepaw said " Come on owlpaw lets leave them here." So we went to find better company.

My paws led me to where Nightpaw was talking to one of his freinds from another clan. I sit a mouse lenth apart from him listening to his voice. Wait this is bad owlpaw are you falling for him? Oh Starclan you are. Just then you realized that he had you the night of your apprentice ceremony.

"Oh, hello.Come out don't be shy." The she cat that Nightpaw was talking to says. Oh no she caught me. " What's your name?" she asks. I remain quiet to embarrassed to speak.

"Owlpaw is her name and she's decided to play shy. She isn't normally like this." he says pushing my gently toward the she cat.

" I'm rosepaw." my sister pipes up thank goodness.

" Nice to meet you owlpaw and rosepaw, I'm dapplepaw. Is this your first gathering?" the shecat asks.

" Yeah your from Thunderclan right?" rosepaw asks being blunt.

" Yes." Dapplepaw replies chuckling at rosepaw.

" We met some of your clanmates earlier they're not nice." I say in a small voice.

" Hmm? Which ones?" she asks looking around the clearing. I point at shrewpaw and moonpaw with my tail. " Them? Just ignore then they think they're better than everyone because there ancestor was firestar. Actually you look like shrewpaw at least somewhat. Where did you come from originally?" She asks

" My mom had me and two other kits in Thunderclan, but she took me to be a kittypet. I didn't like it so we moved to the barn and became loners the twolegs still tried to feed us but we never ate it. Then when she died I got an offer to stay in Windclan so I became rosepaw a sister." I explain then cover my head.

" Your kidding me." she says and I shake my head no. " They lost a sister one night but we never knew what happened to her. Owlpaw your their sister, that means that your related to firestar too!" she practically squeals.

As I was about to say something the leaders yowled and announcements were made. We said goodbye to dapplepaw and went home to rest.
