Lucindas pov
Today is the first day of school after summer. Great (note the sarcasm)
I woke up at 7:25 am this morning and school starts at at 7:30, late on the first day, congrats Lucy. Oh well, it's not like Melanie will care, she's good like that. She doesn't really see the need for education as she never had one herself and she turned out fine.

After around five minutes of laying in bed I finally got up and changed into a white crop top, black jeans, a black jacket and some black vans. For accessories I had a white bag with a cute design on, my nose ring, my earrings and my locket. I don't even know why I keep this on still, I guess it's because it's the only thing that I have of my real parents. Anyways, I put my hair up into some space buns with two plaits on the back and applied my usual makeup with  a red lip. I'm pretty proud of makeup today, usually it looks trash, lol.

By the time I was ready it was 8:00 am, amazing I'm gonna be 40 minutes late on my first day. 🤦‍♀️

When I got into school I had to go and get my time table as it's a new year.

"Hey miss Stewart I need my timetable."
"What?" She asked
I was getting annoyed at this point, is she death or something?
"Are you death? I said I need my timetable" I swear I have to talk to these teachers like their two so that they understand me.
"HOW DARE YOU LUCINDA IM NOT DEATH DONT YOU DARE TALK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!" She was so red it looked like she was going to explode.
"Woah, calm down miss and my names Lucy not Lucinda."
After a few minutes silence she finally spoke up.
"For one you have a detention today after school and for two here's your time table"
"Jeez took ya long enough" was all I said before walking to my first lesson.

Great English first thing on a Monday morning and I'm 40 minutes late, this is going to be fun. As I walked in I noticed that there were new students. I was buzzing with happiness when I saw that my seat In the back corner was still empty but of course mr Smith wasn't going to leave me alone. He should know by now not to talk to me, but oh well.
"Why are you late?" Sir asked casually, out of the corner of my eye I saw the new kid with brown hair and the new kid with bronze hair staring at me like they knew me. WEIRD.
"I'm late because the old bat in the office can't hear and it takes ages to get a timetable when she doesn't even know what your saying."
"WHAT?" Omg what is his problem, is he stupid or something? Like can't he hear? I guess I'll have to talk like he's two then, taking breaks in my words to make sure he can understand.
"I said the, old, bat, in, th" i was explaining as he cut me off.
"Lucinda don't you dare say that again!" I heard snickers behind me from the rest of the class. I was livid at this point don't take it out on me that you've had a bad day.
"FOR FUCK SAKE SIR DONT TAKE IT OUT ON ME THAT YOUR HAVING A BAD DAY, IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH KIDS DONT WORK AT A SCHOOL!!!!" Shit I knew I fucked up then, he went bright red he looked as if he was going to hit me. Crap.
"Lucinda go and sit down NOW, I don't want you to disturb my lesson anymore then you already have. We'll talk about this at the end of the lesson" he said calmly with a deep breath. As I turned round to sit down I saw the new kids staring at me with their mouths hanging open and everyone else laughing at our conversation.
"Ok sir and my names Lucy not Lucinda thanks" I said as walked slowly to my seat in the back.
