I dropped to my knees and just stared at the sky, helplessly.

Why?!

Why?!

This is impossible...

Bryant's body should be here....

Have I just gone blind??!!

My vision blurred as tears started erupting from my eyes...

I wipe it off but it just kept on coming.

Finally , I break into a sob and sat on the dirt and hugged my knees.

No no no

I can't go home like this....

I was snapped out of my thoughts when something tapped my back making me flinch.

I turned my head and I saw a little boy eating a lollipop.

I immediately wiped my tears and looked at him.

Huh? What's a kid doing here?

Gasp

Has he been here the whole time?!

I was trembling but I controlled it.

The boy had blonde hair and violet eyes , he had pale white skin. He was wearing a gray jacket , black pants and black shoes.

He look like he was 8 years old?

I stood up brushing the dirt off of me.

I forced myself to smile but I knew I failed.

"Are you lost?"

I asked as gentle as possible but my voice was hoarse.

"What are you doing here, lady?"

He ignored my question.

Ouch

"I..i-i just needed some fresh air, that's all"

I lied and then smiled sweetly.

He just stared at me with those cold violet eyes that seems to see right through me.

Like he knows I was lying.

He raised an eyebrow and said

"In this kind of hour?"

I glanced at my wristwatch and saw it was already 1 am.

"I really needed th-that fresh air so bad... He he"

Wait!! What about him?

Isn't he way past his bedtime?!

What the hell is this kid even doing here... This is an abandoned park.

"Anyway, I'm going home. You should too"

I started walking away but he made me stop to his question.

"Why were you crying?"

I ignored his question and just continued then suddenly I felt a light tug on my shirt.

I saw it was the kid.

"Do you want me to send you home?"

I asked sweetly.

"No" He replied with a stern and serious answer and looked at me straight in the eyes.

"So, what is it then?"

"I could take you home"

What?! What's wrong with this kid?

"Huh? No, no you can't do that.

Its fine , I can go home by myself.

Don't worry about me."

He just stared at me, waiting for my approval even though I just declined.

"Fine... You can take me home, but I'm not responsible if you get lost or anything."
