Ji-euns POV

Beep-beep-beep

I heard the alarm and literally shot out of bed to see if I was late already.

But after getting up I realized my pretty dear alarm clock only wakes me up on time when its Sunday!

I turned the clock off and realized and we had the company bbq tonight and I am soo looking forward to it.

I dont know many people in the company yet, and even when im their boss's assistant they don't bother to get to know me.

I only knew Baekhyun and Hannah and that also by chance.

I picked up my phone and ran to the washroom and started brushing my teeth.

Ji rim

I looked at the contact number I saved
And wondered if I should call her and ask for a hangout.

Finally I decided to call, i dont know why im hesitant to call my best friend now.

After two rings Ji-Rim finally picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi!! Its me Ji-Rim!"

"Oh Ji-eun....." She said and paused. "Sorry to leave you like that, that day in the cafeteria, i had to deal with something so i had to go.."

"Oh no! Its fine i know you are pretty busy now, you don't have to apologize..... I was wondering if we should meet up today....maybe?" I said hoping to catch up with my friend.

"Umm im afraid im busy today, actually.....I-I have my eyelash extension appointment today!...."

"Oh.....So you are going to be in the bbq tonight right?" I asked frowning a little, I wanted to meet her today so could have our girly talks.

The ones we used to have when we were highschoolers. But I get it she is busy now, we aren't kids anymore and she also works too hard, so I should understand.

"Oh! I almost forgot.... I think i will be coming! Its good you called or i'd totally forget I had to do something. "

"Oh yeah no big deal...so see you later?"

We hung up after an awkward talk.

After dressing up in a semi formal outfit I took the bus and reached 25 minutes later to the korean bbq restaurant close to the office building.

When I got inside I didn't see any familiar face so I tensed up a little.

Someone held my shoulder from behind and I almost yelped.

"Its me!!" Baekhyun said after chuckling a little. "Come with me the reservation is in there!"

"Oh okay!" I smiled and walked with him.

While walking towards the room Baekhyun glanced back.

"Oh look Mr. Jungkook is here too!"

I turned my head and he was walking with the exact same serious vibe from the office, even normal people there would be intimidated by him.

He reached and me and Baekhyun bowed him and greeted to which he just nodded and walked inside.

We both looked at him walking away and were apparently irked.

I looked up and mine and Baekhyuns eyes met, then we both shot lazers at our employer together.

Everyone was sitting there some of the faces looked familiar as I saw them in elevators or sometimes in cafeteria.

I sat next to Mr Jeon and he introduced me to everyone, some passed smiles but some weren't interested at all.

"Oh sorry to be late.." Ji-Rim walked inside with a womanly stance and bowed to everyone.

Mr.Jungkook just rolled his eyes at her and took a shot of soju.

After five seconds Taehyung walked in with an irritated expression.

"Why are we here-" and then he looked inside the room and sighed, and Jungkooks eyes went red and he started throwing deadly looks to everyone.

"Well I called Taehyung because he's been away for a while and he is working with our company right now so we can eat together."
