"Ye know who I am. Ye never introduced ye name love?"
"Katy. Katy Santiago."
He put his hand out to shake her hand. She gladly took it.
"So, Ms. Santiago, what brings ye to Liverpool?"
"If I tell you, you won't believe me."
"Try me. I'm a good listener."
She looked down for a second in silence. Then, they began walking over to a bench and both sat down. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. She felt a hand on his shoulder.
She finally spoke: "I-I'm from the future." She muttered softly.
"What?"
"I know I sound nuts. But its true. I'm from the future."
"No, no. Ye don't. It makes perfect sense. I believe ye."
"You do?"
He nodded and smiled. "Come on. Lets get back to the flat. The others are there."
"Others? John, Paul and Ringo?"
"Yeah. Ye did ye research 'ave ye?"
"Yeah. I guess I did."
He chuckled. "Lets go."
They both stood up and began walking side by side. They were quiet for a bit. Then, George spoke up. "So, what's the future like?"
"Its different. Yesterday I was in New York and for some reason, I woke up here. I don't know how it happened."
"So, ye don't know 'ow ye got 'ere ey?"
"Yeah. Not a clue. I never lived in Liverpool before." She said shyly as she looked down.
They arrived at the flat and he opened the door and walked inside. Each of the other beatles were doing their own thing. Ringo was sitting on the couch eating a sandwich, Paul was playing the piano, and John was reading the book he wrote.
None of them looked up from their own activities as George walked inside. But once Katy got into view, John and Ringo both shot glances at George.
"Who's the bird Georgie?" Ringo asked.
"Katy Santiago. She's not from around 'ere."
"Oh really? Where's she from?"
Katy spoke up finally. "New York USA."
"What are ye doing all the way 'ere love?" Paul stated as he continued hitting keys on the piano. He played just as beautifully as he did in videos Katy saw of him playing.
She kept looking over at John. Her favorite beatle and the beatle that was to be killed in 15 years. She couldn't tell any of them that. Not yet, that is. She looked over at George. "You could say I just dropped in."
George tried to hide his laugh at Katy's small joke.
"What's so funny Georgie?" John asked finally standing up from where he was sitting.
"Nothing. I wasn't laughing."
"Was so."
"Was not Johnny."
"Ye was so. Stop denying it. I saw ye. Ye saw 'im too didn't ye Macca?"
"No. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." He said quickly glancing over at John, then back at what he was doing.
"Seriously?"
"So, there was no real proof Johnny."
John said nothing and sunk back into the chair he sat in before George walked in and George started smiling again.
