It was about 9am and Adrien was still in bed. Lounging like a cat over the covers. Marinette had told him to take the day off, and that was exactly what he did. She had bachelorette party planning to do today, and so did he. But he'd get to that later. His eyes snapped open when something thin and tight wrapped around his ankle.

The next thing he knew he was being dangled off a balcony. In nothing but his pants it took him a while to realise what was happening.
I'm dangling off a ledge by my fucking ankle...
He looked up to his mystery dangler, and wasn't really surprised to find luka. Or rather, viperion hissing down at him.
"Pull me back up!"
Luka made a show of almost dropping the line that held Adrien. He let out a shriek as luka laughed.
"It's a little hard to do that when two hundred pounds of asshole are depending on the strength of my wrist"
"What the hells wrong with you?!"
Luka sat down and crossed his legs, lightly swaying Adrien in the breeze.
"I got a text from Marinette this morning. 'Sorry luka, But I can't juggle so many things at once. I have to help Adrien' she didn't even say it to my face. The nerve"
"What's that have to do with me?"
"Alya told me what you did to Mari, and she still runs after you even when I'm waiting on her doorstep. I lost the bet but, we haven't settled everything"

Adrien curled his hands into fists, getting ready to shout for plagg. He hadn't fought in the suit for years, but he was sure everything would come back to him.
"Let's settle things the old fashioned way"
"I don't know, luka. Last time I checked fangs lose to claws"
"We'll see about that"
Luka dropped him, and he transformed mid air. Grabbing for his staff he got ready to swing it at luka's head.

Marinette had just ended her phone call when she heard the shouting. The people rushing and the paparazzi racing. Her phone rang again and snapped her out of the daze she'd been in.
"What?"
She said, and the person on the other end hesitated for a little.
"Uh- Miss Cheng? I was just calling to remind you that the final fashion show-"
She stopped hearing whatever her assistant was saying. She saw two figures racing over Paris rooftops. One black, one green. Her mouth dropped open.
"Postpone it"
She said, and her assistant sounded at a loss for words.
"Postpone it? Miss Cheng that's simply impossible-"
"I have more important things to deal with. Tell whatever idiot that's getting impatient with me to postpone it or they lose me."
"B-But-"
"I. Don't. Care. I'm the top designer of New York trending, postpone the goddamn show"

She ended the call and shoved it into her pocket. She'd never acted like that before, never snapped at anyone in the work place. But these two idiots would probably bring down Paris if she didn't stop them.
She ran outside and transformed, not caring if anyone saw her. She had to get to them, fast.

Adrien was thrown back against a section of the Arc De Triomphe. He could tell that if he hadn't been wearing the suit, his spine would've fractured. He groaned through his teeth and stood straight.
His tail shot out and gripped luka's leg, ripped it out from under him. He quickly recovered and attempted to get Adrien on his back, only to find himself flipped. Adrien slashed across luka's exposed jaw, the only part he could hurt.
Luka let out something like a snakes deadly hiss and stuck a clawed finger straight through adrien's cheek, just under the line of his mask.
He shook himself as a numbness quickly spread through his face.
Venom. When did he get venom?

He fell on his side, everything going blurry and hard to define. The numbing feeling spider webbing through his entire body.
Luka stood up and rolled Adrien onto his back with a foot. The sky above was bright and glaring. He could distantly make out many people. Taking videos and photos. His suit seemed to be getting tighter. Constricting him. The air in his lungs felt like mud, his throat was unfairly itchy.
"What's wrong chat? Snake venom too much for you feline instincts?"
