Castle

The morning had finally arose they had been walking all night trying to stay awake they were starving,and exhausted but they kept going "Lydia look!"Edward said has he pointed to a castle up ahead she smiled knowing it was home of King Charles her new home but she couldn't take another step cause she passed out in Edwards  arms.
                    Edwards P.O.V.
"Lydia look at me!"I yelled at the unconscious girl in my arms she was so pale and their was no color in her face at all I checked her pulse to find it was still there faint but there relief flooded over me she was alive that was all that mattered the most I scooped her up in my arms and headed to the castle it was about a mile walk from where we saw it from the edge of the woods I was so tired but I was almost there then the gates opened and guards were yelling for the king then "King Charles!The queen of Poland has arrived!"They yelled how did they know who she was I guess they knew she was coming then I'm assuming the King came rushing out from the castle doors and ran over to me along with a woman I'd never seen before "Lay her down"King Charles said he held her in his arms feeling her head "She has a fever"He said the woman felt her head "Good Lord she's burning up!"She yelled "Guards get this young man food and a bed!"She yelled pointing to me they showed me to a room and put food in front of me I was so hungry I ate it all then threw it back up but I didn't care I was starving even if it had only been a day then darkness took over my body and I fell asleep hoping Lydia was safe.
                     Charles P.O.V.
I picked my fiancé in my arms and carried her up to my room and later her in my bed "Mother get the doctor!"I said grabbing a rag and soaking it in cold water while patting it on my fiancé's head she was beautiful even though she didn't have any color on her face she was still beautiful her then mother and the doctor rushed in I stepped back so the doctor could look at her he checked her pulse "It's there but it's faint"he said I was so scared she can't die I don't even know her but somehow I feel like I do and I don't want her to leave me my mother put a hand on my shoulder "What happened?"My mother asked "She passed out not sure why probally from dehydration or starvation I'm not sure, didn't she have a companion?"The doctor asked putting a cold rag on her head "Yes he's asleep though he was exhausted and hungry same has her,I wonder what happened"my mother said I just stared at my beautiful bride to be and was hoping she would wake up and turn out ok "I'm not sure but since there's no others with them I'd say shipwreck"The doctor said my mother gasped I walked over to her and then something caught my eye blood in her neck I traced it with my finger "Doctor look at this!"I yelled he rushed over and tilted her chin up and rubbed his fingers along the place where it looked like it had been slit "Someone held a knife to her throat it would appear,she lost a lot of blood from it even if it is a small cut"The doctor said he started stitching her neck up and wiping blood up "Who would hold a knife to her throat?"I asked "Honestly anybody could've found out who she was and used her as a reward but look at her dress it's got twigs and rips in it like she was in the woods and there's only one thing I could think of that lives in the woods"He said I knew exactly what he was talking about druids they'll pay for what they did to her "Druids!"My mother said covering her mouth "The poor dear no telling what they did to her"My mother said I grabbed her hand it was so cold and blue "Well if she wakes up come and get me I'm going to check in the young man that came with her"The doctor said leaving "I'll stay with her"I told my Mother she nodded and left me alone with my unconscious fiancé "I'm sorry this happened to you Lydia I never wanted us to meet like this I don't know if you're listening or not but I apologize that you had to get through so many dangers to get here and those Druids will pay for what they've done to you I promise you I'll get my best guards to hunt them out and kill every single one of them"I said looks no at her unconscious body I didn't know when she'd wake up I stayed up for hours holding her hand getting a wet cloath to put on her head mother came in several times to check on her and me I told her I was fine and she left pretty soon I fell asleep still not letting go of her hand.
