It was harder for Malcolm to wake up than he expected. Although, he had stayed awake thinking about that animal for longer than was probably necessary. He wanted to tell someone, but he didn't know whether or not what he saw was real. His heart almost jumped out of his chest when Silver shook him awake. He wondered if he was shaking in his sleep because

Silver seemed concerned and asked him if he was feeling okay. She was holding a soaked cloth in her hand and Malcolm realized he must have been sweating. He knew whatever he said next would determine whether or not he would be on the field today.

"Yeah, I just... saw something." Silver's eyes widened and she looked at him with a new envy.

"Like a nightmare?" The way she said this freaked him out. He had never known someone who was so deeply interested in something as simple as a dream.

Nonetheless, he answered. Silver only became more insistent on knowing details. Was it something you had seen before? Where were you in the dream? Could you feel things? Hear things? What did it smell like? All questions that Malcolm hadn't realized that he was prepared to answer. Nonetheless, he did. She listened to everything huge had to say, never saying anything herself. After a long silence, Malcolm couldn't believe what he was saying. He found himself telling Silver everything that had happened the past night. Silver only listened. After he finished his story, he felt a significant weight off of his chest and shoulders. He didn't know why, but he felt like letting Silver know about what he saw was a good thing.

When Silver left the tipi, Malcolm got up and began to stretch.

Silver couldn't stop looking at him all throughout the morning. She studied him like some sort of unsolved mystery. During the time where preparations were taking place, she walked over to him and said, "Keys said he thinks you described a Utah-raptor."

Malcolm cocked an eyebrow. "What? You asked him?"

"Yeah, but I didn't tell him that it it was you who saw it. I just described a few dinosaurs before that one to see if he knew what it was."

He relaxed, "Okay. Don't scare me like that again."

"Why are you so worried about it?" She asked, "I don't know why you don't want anyone knowing about that dream. It's better not to keep secrets in a situation like this."

Malcolm knew she was right, but for some odd reason, he couldn't bring himself to follow through with what she had said. So instead he simply took they easy path out and didn't.

They walked into the center of the outpost together, Silver discussing everything to him along the way. Once there, Silver called the rest of the group outside to heard what was going to take place. He was worried that they weren't going to stick to the original plan, but he was mistaken. Silver simply wanted to clear up a few details of what was going to take place before they met back at the camp.

He got up and started walking toward the van. He felt something brush his shoulder, out of instinct, he looked over at where he thought it was coming from. Apparently, Silver had put her hand on his shoulder. She looked up at him, now that they were so close together, it was clear that she had been meaning to talk to him for a while.

"I read your book..." she trailed off.

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow. "What, uh... what did you think?"

"Well..." she stated, searching for the words. "You're opinions are very...bold. Not that it's a bad thing it's just the way it is, I
