Chapter 2- Internship

3 Years Later

"Koji, Izumi, Are you sure you didn't want to go to the Business Training this year??" Hinata asked both of his friends.

Izumi shook his head. "No, We won't be joining big companies in the future."

Hinata's face fell "I just hope we could all go together."

Izumi pat Hinata's shoulder "Big companies usually have competitions with other companies to test their limits and to test where they should improve on. Unlike us, we'll be joining small businesses instead."

Koji nodded and grinned "Don't worry about us, you go on. Afterall, the interniship happens once a year." Hinata looked at both of his friends who is willingly supporting him. He grinned back at them then nodded. As he walk towards the Building and waved back at his friends.

He looked at the building up close and he couldn't help but be in awe. He smiled and entered the building, the building was filled with people which caused Hinata to be nervous even more. There are 1000 people who applied and 100 would be chosen in interview.

This is an internship that happens once a year in a chosen company in every prefecture. Its a temporary training grounds for those youths who strive to join business industry in the future. Here, the Top Management Positions and Key Personnel positions are open. The positions will be given depending on your answers during the interview. There are 100 people and those people will be training until their limits for 3 months.

The interview went on for a day. Until it was Hinata's turn. He entered an office, there are 5 people sitted behind the long table. The 1st person asked him "What's your name?"

Hinata answered "Hinata Shoyo." The 2nd person asked him "Hinata Shoyo, what position do you want to intern on?" Hinata looked at the person with motivation.

"I want to be an Environmental Manager!" The people behind the table looked at him with shock. They were shock, the first time they saw Hinata, they believed that this person have the temperament for a CEO, but what shocked them is that he choosed a key position instead of Top Management Position.

The 5th person grinned "Why is that?" Hinata answered with cheerfully "They are the ones responsible for handling OSHA compliance, EPA compliance, monitoring air and water quality and product quality. They are also incharge of training employees in each of these areas. They also fill all necessary monthly, quarterly and yearly reports." They all nodded in agreement for his response.

The 4th person asked "Why did you chose this position?" Hinata answered "Because.. this position is a key function in any industry.." The 3rd person chuckled

"What's this position for you?" Hinata answered with motivation "I choosed this position because I believed that this position is one of the reasons why a Company is succesful overall. They maybe a lower position from some position such as CEO and COO. I still think that this position is cool. Because they are one of the reasons why the staffs mastered their roles." He smiled. The 3rd person nodded in satisfaction.

The 2nd person asked "Why didn't you chose CEO position, COO position or Production Manager instead?"

Hinata knew the answer very well, The 'Business Legend' might be a former CEO of Karasuno, but before he could become a CEO, he started of being an Environmental Manager then a Production Manager.

Hinata answered "I want to take one step at a time." He smiled. The people behind the table knew what he meant very well. What he meant is that, he will take the position of Environmental Manager who manages the Professional Staff first then the position of a CEO who put together the resources to support the company. The 2nd person nodded. The previous people they interviewed mostly answered the second question like "I want the CEO position." or "I want the CFO position." Some answered this but the explanation they said is nonsense. Some of them answered like this yet their explanation is satisfying.

"Go back tommorow." The 5th person answered. Hinata looked at that person with shock. Soon his eyes lit up "Yes!" He bowed and thanked them before he left.

"Hmm, He is a good seedling." The 5th person said as he nodded. The others agreed with him. "This year's interns are interesting, let's see how they will do." The 2nd person commented.
