Chapter 6- Goal

An imposing aura came from the man in the center of the room. It was none other than Daichi.

Hinata and Kageyama stood in front of the angered Daichi.

"Do you know how much damage you two caused this time?" Daichi asked, his hands clasped together and his eyebrows pointed together.

The two youths shivered. "H-he started it!" Hinata pointed at Kageyama.

Kageyama glared at Hinata "What?"

"That's enough!" Daichi shouted, the room went silent, giving a strange eerie feeling. The two felt uncomfortable.

"Let me tell you this, you two are not only employees of the same company, you two have a key position that will completely determine the faith of the Karasuno Corp. Do you want to drag the company by your conflict alone?" Daichi scolded. He was having a headache this time. He accepted two talented youths, yet in the end, he was the one who suffered the backlash of their conflict.

The two looked at Daichi with a solemn expression.

Daichi sighed "I've made up my mind." The two looked at Daichi with nervousness.

"I'll demote you two from your position."

This caused the two to feel as if the sky has fallen. Their faces went from serious to shocked.

"B-but!" Hinata wanted to complain. He worked hard for his position only to be demoted.

Kageyama is in the same position as Hinata, he looked at Daichi with utmost shock "T-this is too much! Please don't demote me, I promise that I won't fight with this idiot, again!"

Hinata's mouth gapped wide open when he heard what Kageyama said "I-idiot????" He asked after he heard how Kageyama called him.

Daichi let out a chuckle "Ofcourse I'll give you a chance to redeem yourselves. Your positions will still be reserved. Still, you have to remain as professional staff for one week. Although the damage you caused isn't big of a deal that much, I still have to punish you both or else, you two might cause something thats beyond my control."

The two youths were enlightened after hearing the CEO.

"But!" Daichi's imposing aura returned.

The two shivered. Daichi stared at them with serious expression "For this week, I need you two to cooperate and write a proposal about food products; quality, quantity, price and etc. You must work this time. Also, there will be two new employees. I challenged them as well. At the deadline, both teams will present their reports. If you two are succesfull and dominated the other, I'll return you to your original positions. And if you two failed and the other completely dominated you two, Kageyama, you can't play the role of the Operations Manager anymore."

Kageyama felt as if he was struck by a lightining. He lowered his head and clenched his fist.

"Thats it, you two are dismissed."

The duo walked out of the office with heads down. Kageyama have a solemn expression as he clenched his fists.

Hinata bit his lip "Its your fault! I got implicated because of you..!"

Kageyama looked at Hinata coldly "Shut up..!" He sucked in cold air as he added "If you aren't too overconfident with that presentation of yours, then I'm still have my original position."

Hinata kicked the wall and he glared at Kageyama "That's it! I have no choice but to bear it. So you better cooperate with me, Mr. Operations Manager." He said sarcasticaly.

They entered the same office that Daichi temporarily gave them both.

Kageyama turned his head at Hinata "Let's do something with that English grammar of yours."
