Part 33

Andy's point of view

"And what if this life is just a dream?" I said. "We come and we go."

"Eternally." He said as he laid his head agains mine.

"Eternally." I whispered back.

"Andy." Rye said as he pulled me into a hug but I just pulled away cuz I wasn't here to get back together. A tear came down his face.

"I need to tell you something." I said. "But you have to let me finish before speaking up."

"Sure." He said looking worried.

"I'm moving." I started. "You know my biggest dream is to sing and sign to a label who can get me out there. My dad got me an amazing label deal I'm about to sign. But it's in America and I have to move over there. It's just my dad and I, no Liam, no you. I know you will try to stop me but before you even say something. This is what I want. I want to make music and this is my chance. I will for sure miss you cuz what we had I never shared with someone else. You made me feel loved, you made me feel worth it but sometimes you have to let go the things you love the most to make a dream come true."

Rye didn't said anything. He just stared at me in shock.

"Just say something." I said.

"I don't know what to say." He told me. "I guess this is goodbye than."

"It's never a goodbye." I said as I took his hand in mine. "It's a see you later."

Rye just pulled his hand away and I don't blame him. He's trying to get this all in. It's a lot and it will take a while.

"If you leave, who do I have to hang around with?" Rye asks.

"What about your friends?" I ask him.

"Well Harvey is always in the studio working on his own music." He told me. "Brook and Jack are hanging around with their new friend Sonny."

"What about Mikey?" I ask.

"He doesn't want to talk to me anymore." He told me. "Long story."

"I'm sorry Rye." I said. "I have to go."

I got up, I had to leave right now before I start to think about it again. I have to go to America for that deal. It's all I ever want.

"When are you leaving?" He asks.

"Tonight."

He didn't answer me and just shook his head before getting up as well. He looked up at me and little was I hoping he would kiss me one more time or at least just give me a hug but with nothing he just left me standing there on my own.

Heartbroken when I arrived at the airport with my dad. We checked in before walking around a little.

"Do I really want to do this?" I ask to myself but forgot my dad can hear me.

"Andrew of course you want." He said with a big smile. "It's your dream and no one should stop you from doing this."

My father was so happy we were leaving to America and get me a record deal and all. All he ever want is for me to get succesfull. But is this what I always wanted?

Do I want to make music just to be succesfull? Or do I want to make music with my friends and just have fun?

By this time I didn't know what I want but something about this record deal and moving to America feels wrong.

Do I want to be a solo artist?

Do I want to make my career in America or stay here with my friends, with Rye?

The time I wasn't around Rye, I never forgot him. I knew I was going to America soon so that's why I tried to stay away from him and tried to forgot him but I never did.

As long as I was in the UK it didn't felt wrong to not be around him cuz I knew I was able to see him again whenever I could but moving to the other side of the world makes this diffrence. It ain't right.

" ladies and gentleman, flight three seven two seven to los angeles is now ready to board." The lady on the speakers said.

"Come on Andrew, we gotta go." My dad said as he took my arm and dragged me to the gate.

"Coming." I said.

PLOT TWIST is Andy gonna get on that plane? Is he gonna choose for a career or for love?
