Leona Myles is a loner at Jasper, Nevada's high school.

Well, at least that was what it looked like to her peers.

Leona was glad that no one else could see her lion companions who roamed the halls of the school. After all, she decided, having a mass panic because of them wouldn't be the best idea.

"What are you thinking about?" Alina asked her cheerfully. The lion cub smiling up to her human as her tail moved back and forth.

Leona shrugged, "Mass panic, lions, the usual."

No one paid the girl any attention as she supposedly spoke to nothing, the students of Memorial high having gotten used to the odd behavior of the girl a long time ago.

Azazel laughed his throaty laugh as he walked alongside them, his ears flicking back every time he had to dodge someone, "You humans are so amusing," he said, before snarling at someone who almost unknowingly stepped on his tail.

Leona chuckled as she ran a hand through his fur, the lion settling down almost instantly at the touch of his human, "Calm down, Azazel," she smiled, "Not at school."

The male lion grinned at the promise in her words and the female cub on the girl's other side sighed, shaking her head at the pair.

"Poor rabbits," Alina whispered to herself.

Azazel rolled his eyes at his counterpart, "You just keep eating the cat food you're given," he smirked at her, "Kitty."

Alina glared at him, "Stop bringing blood into the house then."

Leona sighed at the two, "Azazel will stop bringing blood into the house, and Alina will stop complaining about the hunting, deal?"
