Chapter 2

Kim Taehyung POV:

Jimin and I stand in the lines, waiting to get the schedule papers for our 2nd-year. A lot more graduates have shown up this year than the previous. I search among the graduates to see if I can spot Jungkook. He was also applying for the same college me and Jimin go to.

I notice a familiar face, but not the one I was searching for. "Isn't that Jin hyung's sister?" I hear Jimin ask from next to me. "Yeah, I think so too." Jimin taps me on my shoulder, and I turn my head to face him.

"She's staring in our direction." He tells me. I divert my attention back to where she was standing. She flicked us off with her middle finger, leaving me to think. She was indeed staring in our direction. "Just ignore her." I scoff and face forward again.

"She's probably staring at someone else." I avert my eyes back to the line, that was still slowly moving. "It's us, but whatever." Jimin chuckles and slings his arm over my shoulder. "Did you spot Jungkook?"

Jimin nodded. "He's over there." He turned me around to look at where he was pointing. "He was there the whole time?" I asked, after noticing him standing right behind Jin hyung's sister.

Jimin grabbed my arm and made me start waving at Jungkook. He waved back with a grin on his face. I pulled my arm out of Jimin's hand. "Leave me alone Jimin. I'm only here to get the schedule."

The lines were getting closer, and closer together as we moved forward in our lane. The line of new applicants started to merge with the line of kids who were picking up their schedule. Jimin and I continued to walk until it was finally our turn.

We filled out all the information about us and continued in line, to grab our schedules. "Taehyung, look to your left." Jimin whispered into my ear. Jungkook was smiling at me, but I looked at the girl in front of him.

She was holding a clipboard while looking over a bunch of the sign-up papers. The pen she was supposed to write with, was resting on top of her right ear. Her hair left loose, but tucked back behind one ear.

I shook my head, and looked back at Jungkook who was still smiling. I smiled back and nudged Jimin in the stomach. "Why did you tell me to look at my left?" I stared at Jimin waiting for his response. "Jungkook was staring at you, waiting for you to look back at him."

"Wae?" I turned back around. "You seem distracted with something. Both, Jungkook and I can tell." Jimin said, putting his hand on my shoulder. "I'm just tired because of last night, I'm going to sleep once I get home." I shook Jimin's hand off me.

"Whatever." Jimin scoffed at me. We continued walking to where a lady was sitting behind a desk. We finally reached the front of the line. I noticed Jungkook and Jin's sister were walking right behind Jimin and I.

I look at Jimin who's smirking at Jungkook and closely eyeing me. I raise my eyebrows in curiosity. They were communicating with their stupid faces, trying to be discreet about it. Steeping forward in line, they continue behind us.

I stop when I see Jimin turn around and signal Jungkook with his small fingers. I tilt my head to the side wondering what was going on. I fully turn around to look at Jungkook who had his leg sticking out.

He puts his leg in front of Jin's sister and smirks at me. Everything seems to slow down once I see her trip over Jungkook's leg. I quickly react, not knowing what I was doing. Next thing I know is that I'm holding onto someone as I fall on to the ground. On top of me, is Jin's sister. I quickly get up, my face all red.

I get back in line while everyone starts to stare at me. Jungkook quickly grabs Jin's sister without saying a word. He shoves her behind me which ends up with her, bumping into me.
