Joseph's POV
The IV machines all hooked up in Vanessa's body. It made me realize that I loathed Charlotte and Anthony. The way that they messed around with each other just made me want to hurt them. Her body was so cold and pale. Her face looked as if she were hurt and heart filled with disappointment.
A few minutes later later I saw Charlotte and Anthony walk in with red roses and get-well-soon balloons. They greeted me and I put my acting face on and said calmly " Hey guys what's up?"
They both remained silent. Then Charlotte said " Excuse me, I would like to have a moment with Vanessa alone."
"Go ahead." I replied.
