I don't know to be honest. J.K Rowling had a bit of influence I think. And possibly Enid Blyton. They're the earliest authors I remember reading and loving.

I quite enjoy writing things that involve a group of characters with different personalities and/or status interacting. They're always fun. Which is why I've been so eager to get back to my Teagues in ASE.
Oh, and I'm finding out that romantic tension is a LOT of fun to write.
