I get off the bus and walk to Cheryl's, but on the way to Cheryl's I stop at Pops. The smell of burgers and fries reminds me of when I was younger hanging out with Cheryl and Jughead after school. It makes me smile.

"Y/n," Pop says as I sit down at the counter.

"Hey, can I gee-"

"A strawberry milkshake with fries," Someone says from behind. I turn my seat to see Jughead standing there with his arms crossed. "When did you get back?" He says sitting next to me at the counter.

"About five minutes ago," I say turning to face him.

"A Strawberry milkshake with fries," Pop says putting the milkshake in front of me, and the fries in the middle of me and Jughead, he grabs one.

"Hey!" I say playfully punching his shoulder. "That's my food."

"I'm hungry," he says taking another one.

"I don't care," I say and he gets up. "I didn't mean it like that," I say turning around.

"I know you didn't," he says walking out, I turn back around.

"Did I do something?" I say to Pop.

"No, he has a date." Pop says cleaning a cup, my face drops.

"Why didn't he tell me?" I say drinking my milkshake.

I walk out Pop's and finally make my way to Cheryl's. I knock on the door and Cheryl opens it. "Hey, I thought that you were coming earlier," she says leaning on the doorframe.

"Well, I went to Pop's," I say as I walk in, she shuts the door behind me.

"Of course you did," she says as she gets to the stairs.

"Where's your stuff?" She says walking back to me.

"Did you forget why I'm here?" I say as she stepped forward and hugs me.

"I forgot I'm so sorry," she says rubbing my back in a comforting way.

"Don't worry, it's not like I haven't seen you in 6 years," I say as we separate, we walk up the stairs and she pulls me into her room and shuts the door behind her.

I sit down on her bed. "What's going on?" I say then she sits next to me.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" she says grabbing my hands.

"I didn't want to get you involved," I say as she let's go of my hands and stands up.

"You should always get me involved I'm your best friend, now you should get some sleep you've been travelling all day," she says then I get up and hug her and go to her spear room.
