Anna’s POV
End of 2009
It was another day in religion class. I can’t wait to get back with my classmates and joke around with our teacher. As we take our seats, miss introduced us to a new girl and she put her in the seat next me. I didn’t mind since she looked very wise. Ohh who am I kidding, she looked really pretty and kind. She has light brown eyes like mine, tanned skin like mine but a bit darker, and shoulder length wavy curly hair. My hair was kind of like hers but much curlier and longer. We talked a lot about the two famous bands which we both loved and from then on, we became best friends.
“Oh my god, you know Harry Styles from One Direction?“ Charmi says taking her books from her locker. “Yes, I love One Direction! I can not believe that you dont like 5 Seconds Of Summer as much as I do, because if i dated ashton from 5SOS, and you dated Harry from 1D...” I paused. “WE COULD GO ON DOUBLE DATES!” We both squealed and then people started to stare at us.
Two Years later (end of 2011)
We were currently in PE class, not paying attention to the teacher as always, since we don't understand what we are learning, so we just chatted.
“Can you believe that today is our year 12 formal? I mean, it felt like two days ago we just became friends and here we are.” I say on the verge of tears.
“Um Anna, to be more specific it was two years ago. And i dont even know how we are friends ” Charmi replies while laughing. “You’re still coming to my house after this right?”
“Yes.“
“Bring the uni envelope so we can open it toget-”
“Charmi, Anna! Pay attention! Or I will sign in your diary.” Ms Micheal, our teacher said.
“Sorry Ms.” We both said in sync.
“I swear, what is signing in our diary gonna do? Kill us?“ Charmi whispered to me.
“I know right! Oh my god! Oh my god! There is a signature in my diary! I'm dying!” I said back a little too loud which then caused the whole class to laugh and the teacher gave me the ‘I warned you and I'm warning you again’ look.
“Sorry.” I say then everyone goes back to their work.
On that night before we went to our formal, I went to Charmi’s house in my dress. On the way I was wondering how my life would be if i didn't meet Charmi and if i didn' go to the same uni as her. I would probly not have out about youtubers because as soon as I met Charmi we talked about boy bands and youtube.
When I got there, we said our hello’s and hugs and then started screaming of how beautiful Charmi and I looked. I was wearing an aqua tube maxy dress with coloured platform wedges, and Charmi was wearing a strapless purple dress which was sparkly on the bust with silver high heels.
“Oh my god, you look so pretty!“ We both say at the same time and burst out laughing.
“Okay, are you ready?” I asked.
“Ready for what?“
“Ready to open the envelope you douch.”
“Yes. Which one?”
“The one that we enrolled in together.”
So we both opened it and read it then looked up from our letter. And at that moment, I realised that we weren't going to the same university.
